ヴァース・コーラス形式とか構造好きな音楽マニアにとっては 衝撃的名曲。こんな構造ってある？ ラストコーラスのブリッジが ラストコーラスの後にまた来る なのに、それはギターソロであり、プリコーラス的であり どうすんの？またコーラスくんのかい？フェードアウトかい？（BAND-MAIDってフェードアウトある？） で、想像できなかったイントロ兼務のアウトロが来る たしかにイントロ＝アウトロはいつもの事なんだけどさ ここで来るかい？「続いてくから～」の「ら～」が一瞬のブリッジなんだよね 予測不能だけど「ら～」がアウトロへの完璧なブリッジ。完全にハマル。BAND-MAIDドツボに。 曲中のブレイクも、もうたまらん「だから」の前の「ドン」も「ドン」のあとの「だから」も、もうたまらん。 何度聞いてもラストの「オチ」に慣れない 最後、何されるかわかってんのにイク！ 右脳直撃だから BAND-MAIDに弄ばれる

すっかり1年近く後発のDifferentに再生回数を抜かされてしまったが、BAND-MAIDを知らない人にまず聞かせるのはこの曲だと思う。比較的キャッチーで分かりやすいメロディで始まり、2コーラス終わった後、AKANEさんのギャロップビートにKANAMIさんのワウやタッピングを駆使したギターソロが重なっていき、裏ではMISAさんのベースが動き回り、このバンドは只者ではないと思わせる。それから、"Faraway~"の美しいハーモニーに移り、AKANEさんのドラムで盛り上げながら最後のサビに入り、再び、"Faraway~"に戻り、ギターソロが重なりながら、最後にドラムのフィルインで閉めるという秀逸な構成は普通の音楽好きなら引き付けられるはず。

ネオン満載でサイバーパンクなKATEのカーチェイスシーンと、このPVの背景のネオンカラーがこれで繋がりましたね！ KATEにBAND-MAIDが出ると発表されたのが2019年11月27日。 このBloomingのPVが公開されたのが2019年12月10日。 このPVを撮影するときにはすでにKATEへの出演が決まっており、PV撮影に際してはKATE側から”こんなイメージで”と伝えられていたのかな？と勝手に妄想を膨らませ楽しんでおります！笑

Three years since I discovered Band-Maid via Thrill. Then watched Real Existence, Non Fiction Days, Choose Me, Dice. Loved them all....but then watched the video for Blooming. Left breathless. An absolutely peerless track. Immediately became my favourite B-M song.. .in fact my favourite song. Lots of new songs since then and love them all but....this has remained my favourite through those years. Wonderful track, wonderful band, wonderful people.

小鳩ミクの作詞家としての偉大さは、もっと知られるべき。小鳩の歌詞はとにかくリズムが圧倒的に優れている。母音を落としたりつなげたり、音節の長さを自在に変えたりして、まるで英語のようなリズムを生み出している。歌詞の意味やメロディーではなくボーカルのリズムだけに注意して、他のJロックやJメタルの曲を聞いてから Blooming を聞くと、リズムの良さがよく分かる。日本語を知らない人が聞いてもボーカルがかっこよく感じる。難しくてカラオケで歌えないけど。 K-pop の日本語バージョンの歌詞はどれもこれもダサいけど、小鳩が作詞すればきっとかっこよくなるよ。

この曲聞くといつも鳥肌立つのっておかしいですか？ イントロからリフ、コーラス、ソロ、転調、エンディングからアウトロ・・・何から何まで相当な高レベルで昇華してると思うんですが。 でも、彼女たちのことだからこれを超える曲を出してくるでしょうね。

BAND-MAID の曲は KANAMI が作曲して他のメンバーがアレンジしていますが、Blooming は KANAMI がメロディーを作るよう宿題を出し、それを取り入れたものになっています。 natalie.mu/music/pp/bandmaid06/page/2 tracks-live.com/interview/band-maid1211/ イントロは MISA が作り、途中の “far away” からの部分は小鳩が作りました。 元々この二人は作曲にかなり関わっているので (最近の曲はベースラインはすべて MISA が作っており、バックボーカルは小鳩が作っている)、将来的にはこの二人が作曲者として育つかもしれません。

Both Kirk and Kanami like to use wah pedal a lot, but I personally prefer Kanami's choice of tone, as it has richer mid range. When it comes down to Kanami's song-writing, James Hetfield might have bigger influence than Kirk.

BDMD alex まったく仰るとおりです。聴けば聴くほど没頭してしまい、毎回恐ろしいほどの才能に驚嘆せざるを得ません。ひょっとしたらこのアルバムはロックの歴史に不朽の名盤として刻まれる大傑作となるのでは...と半ば本気で思っています。

茜さんのドラミングは「すげー！限界まで叩いてる！」 とカンゲキしますが、Bloomingでも、さらに限界を超えて来て、 あーちゃん、まぢでとんでもないドラマーや！ 「日本のJohn Bonhamだ！」とか褒める外国の方もいますけど、 手数の多さと正確さではJohnを超えてるような？(^^;)

Congratulations to Band-Maid with 3M views on Blooming. Blooming is hardrocking metal Band-Maid style, with heavy shredding from Kanami throughout the song. Blooming was released on Band-Maid's album Conqueror in 2019 🙂

コーラス部分最高です。 なんだろ、耽美的ガールズハードロックって感覚。 美しく攻撃的で退廃的とも言える世界観。 個人的には、こんな空気感出せるバンド他にいないと思う。 ほんと期待してる。

Back in early 2020 a friend of mine on Twitter was mentioning Band Maid I typed Band Maid in the KZfaq search bar and this was the first video that popped up . I ended up looking up more of there videos and became a instant fans and bought all there albums of course when I saw they were going to be preforming I New York in 2022 I bought tickets and went . It all started when watching this video
