The plaintiff says he and the defendant grew up in Memphis together, and the defendant was a high school basketball star. The plaintiff gave the defendant money to help him start his barber career, but he hasn’t paid him back, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant claims when he was in high school, his mother committed suicide, and he was the one who found her. The defendant turned to drugs and alcohol to ease the pain, and he still struggles with addiction to this day.

This touched my heart. I was the one who found my mom’s body right before she went into cardiac arrest and passed away. It was from complications with leukemia. She was barely breathing and had blood pouring from her mouth on the bathroom floor. That image in my head was and still is traumatizing. I was 21. I started smoking weed to cope probably the first 5 months after her death and I drank heavily for a year or two. I call myself blessed because I don’t have an addictive kind of personality in that way so I was able to cold turkey everything. But I just want to hug this man so badly.. it’s been 5 years and my life feels like it’s broken into two pieces. Before and After my mom died. Praying deep prayers for him💛

That's the downfall of modern day society. One thing about men, they will and DO put themselves and their wants first and foremost. Above family, before their children, before "God". Stop praising fish for swimming (black father's).. Not thanking a black man for being in their own kids lives.. That's what they are SUPPOSE 2 DO!!

They should be praised when it’s at least ONE black man that’s there for their children. So many aren’t because no one takes the time to teach them then commend them for doing so!! Black women should equally uplift black men and black women when positives are being made. Thats what’s wrong in the black community now.
