ABOUT BARNEY MILLER: Show synopsis: Captain Barney Miller is the patient and wise catalyst who must interact not only with his staff, but with the volatile mixture of malefactors and weirdos who stream through 12th Precinct headquarters. Barney's staff of detectives bring their own personalities to the chemistry: There's naive Wojehowicz, sophisticated and ambitious Harris, and Dietrich, given to arcane Freudian explanations. Barney and his crew face unpredictable adventures and frequently bizarre assignments with professional dedication and an essential sense of the absurd.

Clearly not. The pilot started at Barney's home, but the best parts must have been considered to be in the squad room because the show hardly ever left it again. 😂

Thank god she did not last on this show!!!! And why was she shown on the last episode when she was barely on here is what never made sense to me

I don't know why, but I never liked her, and she irritated me more than usual when she tried to sing. But who in the heck told her she should get a curly perm? She looks like she's wearing a Persian lamb hat.

Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"
