In 75 we had metal Quonset huts, outdoor showers in the winter.

Basic training? I doubt it. I was there 7 yeas later and never saw a weapon larger than a rifle and that was for only 1 week.

The information that these photos were taken during basic training was provided by the veteran's family. There is a possibilty that these photos may show AIT and not basic training.

I did my Army basic training at Fort Leonard Wood several years after this video, and it hasn't changed much at all. 🫡
