RC helicopter transmitter setup on a computerized radio / transmitter is one of the most important things to understand when getting into the hobby of collective pitch RC helicopters.
A proper setup not only insures your RC helicopter is going to fly well, it also ensures you have your heli setup to suite your ability level and flying style.
That is after all one of best features all collective pitch RC helicopters share; they can all be setup for various flying styles and skill levels. From beginner to pro, scale to sport, tame to insane; having your heli setup to perform at your pace results in more time flying, less time repairing, more enjoyment and of course more FUN!
This video shows the radio/transmitter programming portion of collective pitch setup on a popular micro collective pitch RC helicopter and OpenTX transmitter with test flight afterward showing the various different RC helicopter setups (Normal, Stunt 1 & Stunt 2). Setup steps are the same for other computerized RC transmitters, the menu layout is just different between radio brands.
My Setup & Tips for Collective Pitch RC Helicopters eBook covers this basic information in much more detail with many more explanations and examples of RC helicopter setup:

Even though I have yet to move to Open TX, I now understand basic setup for micro helicopters. ALL your videos have taught me something of value. I can set up all my XK, Eachine and Yu Xiang helicopters in the Xk X6 controller perfectly. Even the Spektrum DX6E benefits from your teachings. Thanks again. PS: I can hover and move around a lil better in agility mode now. And I am breaking less parts, 😂.

I just programmed my first flybarless. Model using companion wizard and choosing airplane which gives the first 4 channels. Added channel 5 and 6 for gyro and collective. Love the flexibility of open tx. Flying the model on accurc sim on x9 lite. Waiting for delivery multi. Module for spektrum and futaba . My flight modes only change the throttle percentage. Use the same linear curve for pitch . Added a mix for gyro by assigning pot switch to add or subtract the gyro value to fine tune tail gyro on newly built model.

I wish I'd seen this video or one like it before I first-flight-crashed my Eachine E160. With the default setup on the E6 radio, when I brought the throttle/collective down quickly, the resulting negative collective slammed it into the ground, breaking the landing gear and swash-plate links. While waiting for the replacement parts, I edited the collective points upward at the low end (after writing down the original).

Thanks for the video it will be really useful. So when you are talking about the "normal" flight mode I presume that is the same thing as other descriptions for flight modes such as "safe", "stabilisation", "auto-level", "6G" ? And your recommendation is to not try and learn using "normal/safe" flight mode but to use idle up1 and 2?
@Rchelicopterfun
@Rchelicopterfun 3 жыл бұрын
Howdy Nigel, With collective pitch RC helicopters, when most of us reference "flight modes" we are talking about the pitch & throttle curve selections; ie. different collective pitch and throttle ranges in each of the flight modes. These flight mode curve setups can drastically affect how a collective pitch helicopter behaves and ultimately what flying style you can achieve with one. For leaning on, we want a smaller collective range and less power (a tame setup or flight mode in other words). For normal & scale flying, we usually want moderate power and more collective range introducing some negative pitch now but still hovering usually around mid stick. For sport or F3C type flying, we want a symmetrical collective range (equal amount of positive & negative pitch) but not full range and usually not full power. For 3D type flying, we want full power and the maximum symmetrical collective pitch range the helicopter can achieve without bogging down the power or rotor system. All that is selected by the flight mode - what pitch & throttle curves you have programmed for each flight mode. This is different from the "stabilization mode" (the level of electronic self level help offered by the flybarless system/flight controller) which is what you are referring to. Stabilization mode is generally selected by channel 5 on the radio/transmitter for most helicopters and flybarless systems (but it does vary). It essentially turns on a 3 axis accelerometer sensor over the normal 3 axis gyro sensor. That is what I'm recommending to keep turned off (the accelerometer sensor) so you have no artificial self level help (safe, 6G or whatever other marketing term is thrown into the mix) when learning to fly a CP heli. Why turn it off? With a tame "setup" (flight mode selection), most people don't need that artificial self level help because a tame setup will give almost the same tame control response, but unlike artificial self level, will still give you the TRUE FEELING & RESPONSE of a helicopter so you don't have to relearn it all over again when you are ready to progress into more advanced flying. Basically only resorting to self level stabilization activation as a "save" function or if you just can't seem to learn the balancing act of hovering a collective pitch helicopter, even with a tame setup. Hope that helps clear it up & I cover collective pitch setup in much more detail in my setup & tips ebook: www.rchelicopterfun.com/rc-helicopter-tips.html

@@Rchelicopterfun Thank you! Yes that makes sense now and I will get the e-book which sounds like it will help me. I have been trying to join a helicopter club in the UK this year to learn but due to COVID that has not been possible so I am trying to learn myself at the moment. I have the Blade Nano S2 and Spektrum DX8G2. The manuals aren't great to be honest but looking now it looks like F-Mode Setup uses the 3 position switch B which is assigned to channel 5 gear. Positions 1 and 2 must enable safe and position 3 must disable it. As per your recommendation will try to learn in position 3 and tune collective and power. In position 3, 5 point TC all currently set to 100 and PC set to 0/25/50/75/100. Thanks again for your time.

If you have the Setup & Tips for collective pitch RC helicopter eBook. Throttle hold is covered in detail on page 24-26. Throttle hold is essentially another flight mode that overrides all others so you have a fixed no power throttle curve output and whatever collective range you want for throttle hold. Great video very informative, my xk k110 drifts to the left pretty aggressively right out of the box. seems like 50% trim to the right helped but it still wants to pull to the left, I have to stay on the stick and give it constant input to the right even after I calibrated it in 6g mode several times because I don’t know how to fly 3d just yet, does it sound like I may have a defective helicopter?
@Rchelicopterfun
@Rchelicopterfun 3 жыл бұрын
Check and level the swashplate to see if that helps (a little right tilt to the swash is okay to counter the left tail rotor translating tendency - just a smidge. Have you even tried it without the artificial self-level help turn on (ie normal 3 gyro mode)? If it is fine in normal 3 gyro mode, but drifts with the accelerometers turned on, and if you can't successfully calibrate them, then yes, that sounds like a defect issue (if you have confirmed the swashplate is level). With all that said, a nice tame learning to hover/fly setup in normal 3 gyro mode will be almost as easy to fly as if the 6G (self level help) is turned on, and you'll be learning the real feel right off the bat so you won't have to relearn it all over again when you turn self level help off. But do check the swash level since that is key to having a well trimmed bird off the bench.

Thanks so much for this video. I just bought this heli and using your setups make it fly very stable. My only issue is I require a lot of right trim to get the heli to stop drifting. So in my case the swashplate is tilted right. I’m new to this so pardon my ignorance. Is it ok to use digital trims on a flybarless heli? If not, how can I get swashplate back to level and not have drift? Thanks
@Rchelicopterfun
@Rchelicopterfun 2 жыл бұрын
@Mark Linder - you have to mechanically level the swash by pushrod adjustment. Radio trim on FBL should never be used. Some FBL systems without mechanical servo to swash pushrod adjustment (ie. fixed length servo to swash pushrods) will generally have FBL internal servo trim programming to individually adjust each of the 3 eCCPM swash servos to level the arms and get a level swash, but the K110 requires mechanical leveling.

Where did you get the models for your radio? Is there an open Tx repository?
@Rchelicopterfun
@Rchelicopterfun 4 жыл бұрын
As I state and demo in the video, I first created two generic heli models (3 if you included the generic Futaba model with ch3 throttle). These 3 generic models are the base foundation for my inputs, mixes, outputs & curves. After that, every new heli model I enter, I will use one of those three models by duplicating it. I then select the model, name it, attach an image file, and go through all the setup steps along with creating logical functions and telemetry setup for the larger birds. In short, every model I have listed in the radio, I created & customized myself, but every one of them is based on one of the 2 generic collective pitch model foundations I first created. It took me over 6 months to slowly switch all my helicopters over to OpenTX & FrSky when I made the switch from JR/Spektrum. Yes, it's a massive undertaking switching systems. I hope I never have to do it again, but in this hobby, that would be unheard of.

Another question, John. I see you adjust the collective range (24 degrees) in the outputs (ch. 6). But I thought the pitch curves was setting the collective range? Obviously not. Do you have a short answer to my misunderstanding?
@Rchelicopterfun
@Rchelicopterfun 3 жыл бұрын
Pitch curves set your individual collective ranges for your different flight modes, what I'm doing initially with the +/-12 collective is setting the maximum possible collective range the helicopter can produce.

One question, if you don’t mind On minute 10:05, on the radio screen (first setting) you have as channel 1 thr, is that correct? If so, what settings do you have in that channel?
@Rchelicopterfun
@Rchelicopterfun 3 жыл бұрын
At that time index (10:05) I'm actually setting the inputs (what stick or switch is assigned to what function). It really makes no difference what order you create your inputs as it has no bearing on channel mapping. I just use the order I'm most familiar with (TAER). Setting your mixing in OpenTX is where you assign your inputs to a specific channel. I go over mixer settings (what channel you map your inputs to starting at time index 14:44. In this particular example as I explain at the beginning due to Futaba's AETR channel mapping (which this specific K110 heli uses), I have throttle assigned to channel 3.

@Rchelicopterfun
@Rchelicopterfun 4 жыл бұрын
Like most micro helis, the Nano CPS SAFE (auto level stabilization) is activated and deactivated through channel 5 output (just like it is on this little XK K110). I believe in the Nano instruction manual for programming, they suggest mixing the channel 5 output to the flight mode toggle so your flight mode toggle is what turns SAFE mode on. If you don't want that function, then you would have to turn that mix off and have channel 5 control through the gear toggle instead.

Look at your channel output monitor and see if you have throttle output on your assigned throttle channel. If not, then you have to start digging through your OpenTx configuration. There are so many ways to alter the outputs on OpenTX after all. Might be something as simple as not low enough throttle signal to arm the esc or throttle signal is backwards. Lots of other possibilities of course.

I don't understand what you are asking about "setting". What setting? If you are referencing collective pitch RC helicopter setup, size of the helicopter is irrelevant. You setup a collective pitch RC helicopter to produce the amount of performance you want out of it based on how you want it to behave & your flying style/experience level. As I say in the video - that is the fundamental constant for all collective pitch RC helicopters regardless of size, brand, or power type. www.rchelicopterfun.com/rc-helicopter-tips.html

I'm not a Rotor Flight user. I fly Bavarian Demon and Ikon mostly plus it's a big time investment in learning, getting used to and fully trusting a new system. With that said, I'm interested in trying the new RadioMaster Nexus which as you likely know runs on RotorFlight, but it at least has been properly tested and tuned by others as I have no time nor desire to beta-test open-source unknowns, so we will see what the future holds. Jonas of course has already done a full Nexus configuration video which I can't hold a candle to.

Thanks. However when and how did you set up the collective pitch? Do you not need to program the cyclic and pitch in the input screen to enable the collective pitch to work? Or did the automatically set up because you selected the heli mode?
@Rchelicopterfun
@Rchelicopterfun 3 жыл бұрын
Not sure I understand your question "setup the collective pitch." Collective pitch setup starts at 17:06. If you are asking about an eCCPM (electronic-cyclic-collective-pitch-mixing) setup, like almost all flybarless RC helicopters, the K110's flybarless system (flight controller if you prefer) does the 120 degree 3 servo eCCPM mixing internally. There is no radio eCCPM mixing required. Just that you setup your collective channel output (ch 6 in this case) with your various pitch curves. Only if had a heli that didn't do the swash mixing via the flybarless system (Align 3G or 3GX for example) or any flybared 120 degree eCCPM heli, would you have to enable internal radio eCCPM mixing, and that would be done in the heli setup menu on the radio to select an internal radio eCCPM swash mix program.

John, just to understand the way you fly. Do you use three switches to set the flight conditions: the rate/expo of aileron/elevator (SD), rate/expo of rudder (SG) and flight mode (SE)? Regards
@Rchelicopterfun
@Rchelicopterfun 3 жыл бұрын
Pretty much. Like most traditional collective pitch RC heli setups, I use a 3 position toggle to set my 3 separate pitch and throttle curves for my 3 flight modes (plus a separate hold throttle & pitch curve) which naturally overrides any of the others when I engage throttle hold. As for dual & expo rates, I personally like having a separate cyclic dual rate toggle and rudder dual rate toggle and use two more toggles for them. With OpenTX (and most other computerized radio OS systems), all the dual rates could of course be coupled to the same toggle as the flight modes so it's all controlled from a single toggle for those that find that easier. I just like having the ability to separate my dual & expo selection from my pitch & throttle curve selection, especially for scale or F3C type flying.

I would really have to see it first hand to correctly diagnose; but it sounds like the servo arm on the servo in question has likely cammed out one or perhaps more spline places on the servo output shaft. A servo gear could also be stripped in that servo causing it to jump out of position. Just guess of course without seeing it first hand.

Awesome video, John ... as always! Thank you! I set up my K110 with all your settings, but you don't explain HOW to setup the gyro gain/values. I tried to copy your setup but I don't think it's working. The switch indicates it's going from -100 to 0 to 100, but I can't confirm the model is switching/entering the two modes properly (don't want to do a test flight until I KNOW it's working PROPERLY). The method you showed in the video doesn't seem to work on my model. Shouldn't a LIGHT on the board CHANGE when you're in 3D vs. 6G??? My lights stay the same (red and blue both on solid). Also, my two aileron servos are not centred/level (no idea WHY). The one is slightly low and the other is slightly high. Sooo, the swash is not level side-to-side. HOW do you level them? I've leveled legacy helis in the past using sub-trims, but I have NO IDEA how to do it on a micro with a flight controller. Do you adjust the aileron mid-point or something???
@Rchelicopterfun
@Rchelicopterfun 3 жыл бұрын
@TechNoPhobia - There are no remote gain adjustments on the K110. Like most modern day micro size FBL collective pitch RC helicopters, channel 5 only controls the mode of stabilization. Either normal 3 axis gyro mode selected, or self level mode activated. Basically a this or that selection with anything from about 0% to -100% travel output putting it in one mode, 0% to +100% travel output in the other mode. *No gain adjustment at all.* There is no LED color change or flash sequence on any of the XK helicopters to indicate which stabilization mode you have selected. However, like any FBL unit that also has a self level mode, it's pretty easy to visually determine by swashplate tilt behavior what mode is selected. In self level, the swash will generally stay tilted after a cyclic command or heli movement. Whereas in normal gyro mode, the swash will slowly level back out after a cyclic command or heli movement. Or just hover the thing to feel what stabilization mode it's in as it's pretty obvious. 🙂 If you are not getting a mode change by channel 5 activation, you'll have to confirm on your radio (servo/channel output monitor screen) you are getting full channel 5 travel in both directions with whatever toggle/activation method you have selected to control channel 5. If you are not seeing any channel 5 control, you'll have to recheck your channel 5 input/mix/output programming setup. I know of know way to electronically level the servo arms on the XK micro helis. I've always made adjustments mechanically if required to trim them out (in normal gyro mode). Mechanical adjustment procedure is the same as it is on any RC heli... first servo arm spline selection to get the arm as close as possible to a level position, then pushrod ball link threading adjustment to level the swash.

@@Rchelicopterfun Wow! Thx a million for the QUICK, detailed reply! My swash doesn't react like yours in the vid to indicate EITHER gyro mode. When I tilt the heli, the swash stays put (maybe I'm not 'doing it right'???). I'm using the SB switch and, yes, channel 5 is indicating -100, 0, 100 output in the monitor. Dunno what I've done wrong. I don't want to do a test flight because I CAN NOT fly without stabilization. Period! I'm used to fly bar helis that 'self-level' (in normal flight mode, I guess) when the cyclic stick is centred. These FBL helis that stay in one position when the stick is centred are beyond my control! I just crashed my brand new E160 when I switched it into 3D cuz I couldn't friggin' KEEP it level. @@Rchelicopterfun So I flew my K110 last night and everything seemed to be OK ... sort of. Didn't have enough collective range so the bird didn't want to climb, especially in normal mode. Increased that and it was MUCH better. As far as the tail goes: NOT enough gain! There HAS TO BE a way to increase the gain on the gyro using OpenTX! Using the XK X6 radio, the tail is LOCKED IN ... BEAUTIFUL! Using the TX16S, the tail is pretty bad. I noticed it RIGHT AWAY! Even just taking off, the tail was drifting left, which it NEVER did using the X6. The X6 gains are set at 75 and 25 FOR A REASON. They're not set at 0 and 100. Using the TX16S, the gains are set at 0 and 100, effectively. There has to be a way to set them at 25, 75 using OpenTX. I'm REALLY surprised you said in your review that the tail was "locked in" using OpenTX; that certainly wasn't the case in MY experience. Hi John, Correct me if I'm wrong. Setting up my XK-110 with my Jumper T16, I found the Throttle and Pitch hold switch (SH) would not work since it is a toggle switch. @Rchelicopterfun 3 жыл бұрын
Howdy Barrett. Yes, I physically swapped my rear toggle switches around so the sprung momentary is on the left and the normal two position on the right (like I'm used to all on my previous radios over the past 30 years). So what you did there by using the SF toggle on the left for your throttle hold activation is spot on correct. The next statement however "the heli will not spool up in hold mode now"... I don't see any problem with since that is the whole idea of having throttle hold turned on - the heli won't power up when hold is engaged. So I need clarification on that because it's working exactly the way it should. If something isn't working correctly however, use your channel monitor screen to help fault trace. As I so often say, it's one of the most important tools that computerized radios give us to help figure programming issues out.

@Rchelicopterfun
@Rchelicopterfun 2 жыл бұрын
@Peter Cane - I'm not sure what "heli icon" you are referencing? If it's the little red circle shown in the model setup screen (a little airplane shown in this video), it really has nothing to do with radio outputs since we are programming those anyway. You do have to have the "no heli" box unchecked however in the build options so you can activate CCPM swash mixing type for helicopters that require internal radio CCPM mixing. By the way, flybar or flybarless has no impact on type of CCPM selection, it has to do with where the swash mixing occurs (externally in the helicopter or internally in the radio system). You can have external swashplate mixing on both flybarless (most of todays FBL systems do the CCMP mixing) or old mechanically mixed flybared helicopters (swash mixing is done on the heli mechanically). Likewise, you can have internal radio swash mixing with flybared helis that don't use mechanical mixing or some FBL systems like the Align 3G & 3GX that don't do any swash mixing within the units. I cover all this in two separate videos I made on OpenTX for helicopters. Part 1 - No radio CCPM mixing (external mix): kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jsp2gtGVta2bqKM.html Part 2 - Internal radio CCPM mixing: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/d8d-q5BpmL2ulZs.html Hope that helps...

@Peter Cane, the H submenu is used for swash mixing programming. I cover using that H submenu in that second OpenTX heli video I mentioned above (internal radio CCPM).

@Peter Cane - Sorry, I don't know what a heli setup wizard is on OpenTX? There never was one that I know of since using OpenTX from 2017 onwards. I've always used OpenTX University's base template which is what I show in those two videos and I use it on every collective pitch heli I own from little micros up to 820 size turbine. The Nano S3 would be setup identically as well. I don't have an S3 to do a video on one, but again, it would be identical to any other collective pitch helicopter setup. The only difference with it over this K110 example would be it uses Spektrum channel mapping order (TAER) instead of Futaba order (AETR). I even go over that in the second video above where I discuss creating additional OpenTX templates (4 in total) so you are covered for both Spektrum & Futaba channel mapping for both external & internal CCPM. As you'll see in that first OpenTX for helis video (external radio mixing), you don't necessarily have to uncheck no heli in the build options if you are only going to have/setup/fly externally mixed CCPM RC helicopters (such as all the ones you have listed). All the no heli box option does is remove that swash mix sub-menu from the list. However & as I point out in that first video, it's generally in your best interest to have that swashplate mix menu in your base heli template for if/when you may get a heli/s that require internal radio swash mixing. In other words, it somewhat future proofs your base OpenTX heli template.

I am wondering if with the new wave of transmitters in the market someone has set openTX v 2.3.10 for a heli with this features: nitro, CCPM 120 (requires command directly to the servos, not thru gyro), expos and throttle trim on. For now, I was able to adapt CCPM configuration for the Taranis (that is in the OpenTx university) in a MiniTitan, but I think there are still some missing issues to fully exploit the new transmitter, the way a simple Futaba 7C can be configured to fulfill the configuration of a nitro heli as described above.

Yes OpenTX can control a normal eCCPM heli. It will allow 120 degree mixing within the radio for traditional flybared machines or ones using flybarless systems that don't do the 120 mixing internally. Now I'm still running 2.3.9 but there is no reasons things will have changed in 2.3.10. They haven't changed yet in countless updates after all. I won't of course know for 100% sure until I update, and I always wait a good month or two before doing that in the off chance there is a bug in the new release. I have several fly-bared machines with 120 eCCPM and several more that use Align's 3G & 3GX flybarless systems (electric & nitro) - all working fine with OpenTX . You of course have to make sure you have the heli option enabled in the Companion build options for the radio so you can select the different swash mix types in that menu.

Not sure what is lacking or how it would effect CH 6's mixing outputs? Everything works perfectly as it should on all my 120 degree eCCPM mixed helis in OpenTX, just as they did when I was flying them with pre-configured computerized radios. One crucial & important item however is to make sure you set your dual & expo rates on the input side as I show in this video. This is discussed in OpenTX University in the helicopter setup section: open-txu.org/home/special-interests/helicopter/heli-part-1-setup/ It specifically states: "Dual Rates and Expo - Next step is to change DR and expo for the Aileron, Elevator and Rudder. This could be done in the mixes, but the best place is in the inputs. The reason for this is that if CCPM were ever to be used, the CCPM mixing is done directly from the inputs, not the mixes.

On my one remaining nitro heli, I use the same throttle servo/idle control method I show in that gas airplane video with the idle control S1 dial add multiplex function on the CH1 (the throttle channel) mix side so it has no effect the collective output when using it. I just looked in my radio at that model, and the trim box is also turned off on throttle stick input setup screen so it doesn't impact collective output if I accidently use trim on that stick. I regognized "white" version of K110 (not K110S) has also 2 versions in the controller setup! Old version throttle can be regulated from -100 to +100. (0 to 100) Newer version have only from -100 to +40 (0 to 70). From +40 to +100 no increase of throttle. That is crazy. Improvements on this heli: a) GNB 520mah HV LIPO, +0,15 Volt increase the RPM, Lipo fits without issues b) Change plug to GNB27, 0,05 to 0,1 Volt more efficency c) Change tail blade to Blade mCPX/2 (need small driller, drilling by hand to open hole 0,1mm) 4 years of K110 experience: - Number 1 end of lifetime. - Number 2 not found in deep gras - Number 3 left in a tree - Number 4 with black motor - Number 5 and 6 with purple head on the motor. (since 1 to 1,5 years available) - Number 4 and the 5/6 fly different. Now I understand why :) kind regards Timo

hello ... how do you set the key for 3D and 6G? My xk130 only works 6G
@Rchelicopterfun
@Rchelicopterfun 3 жыл бұрын
FBL stabilization selection is controlled by channel 5 (on most micro helis), so you would set your channel 5 output however you want to change it from -100% to +100% such as a toggle switch.

Hi John. Can I use this setup for Ikon flight controller?
@Rchelicopterfun
@Rchelicopterfun 3 жыл бұрын
This video addressed the radio and helicopter setup portion of RC helicopter setup. That is different from the flybarless system configuration & setup. Regardless of what flybarless unit is used or even if it's a mechanically stabilized helicopter (flybar), collective pitch RC helicopter is very much universal and all these same steps I show with this little micro CP heli are done with all sizes. As for flybarless system setup & configuration (RX connectivity type, servo travels, centering, pulse width, gains, travel limits, gyro direction, swash leveling, piro-comp, etc.), that is unique to each flybarless system and the best tool you have for that is the flybarless system's setup wizard.

John, Could u pls make a video of doing HANDS OFF hover of XK helis? The manual or other's video on it is not clear at all. Also, how can I make my CYCLICK reponse STICKY for slow scale type flying. Right now my default settings is twichy 😡😡😡😡😡☹️☹️☹️ Thanks . I alys watch yr vids.

I'm presuming by "hands off" you are referencing "auto level" or as XK's marketing calls it, 6G? If so, I go over that in the video when talking about the output of Chanel 5. Ch5 travel output in one direction activates accelerometer stabilization, in the other, normal gyro stabilization. I also explain how to confirm it's either turned on or off by watching the swashplate behavior since XK's heli don't show it by LED color like some other brands do. Of course there is really no such thing as a long duration "hands off hover" with any single rotor micro CP heli; you still have make corrections regardless as hover equilibrium is easily disturbed by even the lightest breeze or the little heli flying into its own dirty air. As for cyclic response to be more scale like, just keep dialing down your cyclic dual rate values until you get them to a point where you feel you have a good compromise between control and reaction/response speed. Keep in mind however there is only so much that can be done with small micros that have next to no mass. Micro's will never have the awesome fluid flight characteristics and rock solid feel of a larger CP heli that is required to mimic scale helicopter behavior.

@@Rchelicopterfun , U made a video of XK 123 and 124 taking into CALIBRATION mode, but one did not go due to unknown reason. Yes 👍 I meant HANDS OFF hover in 6G mode, at least couple of seconds. Basically fine tune 🎵 the accelerometer that all I wish to know. If u could kindly make a video plsssssss . 😊😊 As dor th cyclick response , my other micro such as Mcpx Bl has tht type of STICKY , GLUEI type tht makes thr hover so stable. I just feel XK swash is twichy , thts the problem. Thanks.

@@Rchelicopterfun , Ok 👌 I don't need to do CALIBRATION in 6G(3d) mode as it is already very very stable & can be as HANDS OFF for couple of seconds . But in the 6G mode it is pulling to the left fast and cyclick compensation needed to hold. Swash is all leveled . Smethng to do wth ACCELEROMETER . Would u pls help if a video possible 😊 Thanks .
