The Arkham Origins comics feature an appearance by Rat-catcher. He shows up in a bad choice that ends with Batman getting torn alive by a thousand rats.

We should have HAD THIS already! THats what Gotham Knights should have just been. Scrap the whole thing and make it Arkham Origins 2 but INCLUDE the Co-op (Expand on the Multiple Characters and Dual Play for Single Player) and the Citizens and evolve the Arkham Origins / Arkham Knight Gameplay TOGETHER with stuff from other game franchises (Spider Man, LA Noire, Midnight Club, etc) WHY HASNT this been done already?

It was most likely given a lot of money by meta to make it, kinda like how Angry Birds did an exclusive game on Apple Arcade that was sponsered by apple.

Also it'll most likely be longer since the last VR Arkham game was in 2015 and that was an hour or two, with the new technology it'll probably be a lot longer.

People gotta get off this "VR is bad" crap. Quest 3 is a solid device, sold as game console in the console sections of every major retailer. All taditional consoles have exclusives, but when Quest starts getting Bigger AAA IPs for exclusives, all the console players rage and melt... just look at the IGN trailer, it's absolutely disgusting.. I even saw people saying they want to assault Quest users and then the death threats to WB.. like what the actual fuck?...

At a point where it feels like WB just killed the Arkhamverse, along with literally the main character, it seems a bit tone-deaf to then announce a game with all the elements fan had hoped for, yet they make it so only .5% of Arkham fans will be able to enjoy it. When we want to see WB put their time, money, and talent into a proper sequel to AO, they show us that they're still only interested in making games that will sell on gimmick. I'm not saying VR is a gimmick, mind you, but I guarantee this game will sell only on the gimmick of being Batman in VR, rather than on its quality as a game.

No, he's a villain that's good idea with horrid execution, they should go with someone underrated, like The Spook or Tweedledum and Tweedledee.

@@Hybrid225 Since when did Meta release an exclusive to other platforms exactly? Lone Echo and Asgard's Wrath both came out years ago and both are still exclusive to Oculus/Meta headsets. The only stuff that went to PSVR and PCVR was things like Beat Sabre because Meta didn't buy them until after the game was already out. Same with Iron Man VR, developed by Camoflaj, who are also the devs on Batman Arkham Shadow. But since Iron Man VR came out on PSVR, they were acquired by Meta in 2022 and are now a 1st party Meta studio.

I saw that comic a long time ago and when I saw what happened to batman when he got jumped by those rats it was a pretty brutal death.

That's why I always thought multiple games set between Origins and Asylum should have been made after Knight, to fill in the gaps between Origins and Asylum.

This is meant to be an Arkham game set on the arkhamverse, which, may i remind you, all the other arkham titles are on CONSOLE and PC. Not to mention how expensive VR is in a lot of countries

They are short length games, you'll probably only fight some criminals with your hands instead of throwing a batarang or a smoke bomb AT BEST, 80% roaming around and 20% "fighting". They could've easily made another Arkham Batman game like the previous having ratcatcher as the main villain, making some villains return (Bane, Deathstroke, maybe even Solomon Grundy since they can add some BS to the story and make a reason for him to return). You'd be lying to yourself if you'd say you wouldn't want an Arkham Batman game like the previous ones rather than Batman's hands simulator.
