It doesn't matter which version it is, they are all very difficult, especially the one of nes and genesis

Amiga < Game Gear < Game Boy < Mega Drive < NES (US) < Famicom for me, though for me the MD port is incredibly solid despite missing some cutscene elements not seen here, and the Amiga version is especially poor

Hmm, Genesis have better music and graphics, but nes version is much harder.

@@supreme_doge_yt7509 @Wise Doggo Let me disagree with you. Sega's controls are much more convenient and responsive. At the 2 level, it is much easier to stock up on extra lives from crows, which will be enough for the whole game. The race on the 3 level are slower, especially last part. And so on and so forth... I'm not even talking about the fact that in the version for nes the clinger winger race is practically impassable.

To think that Genesis and Game Gear Battletoads were developed by Arc System Works (the same company that, years later, would develop and produce Guilty Gear)

I own the original NES cartridge of this game. Played a fan improved version of the Genesis/MD version and like it. I have yet to beat this game. lol.

While Genesis version looks and sounds better, NES version's controls were tight. Genesis version had slight input issues.

SGG version is so laggy. Amiga's one could be much better, especially considering most ports for it have best music 🎶.

@@pixelplayer140 Well let me tell you something. Both the Amiga and Amiga CD32 have the option for either Just Music or Just SFX. (Which I think is a stupid idea for those ports)

@@GenericUser379 well here's this fact Apparently the game was going to be ported to atari ST and PC DOS by mindscape but they were cancelled Also there was a planned remake/sequel of battletoads for the GBA while Rare was still owned by nintendo

Amiga version had the sounds effects that the CD32 was lacking and vice versa with the music. Wtf Amiga? You couldn't have found a way to put them together in one of those ports? Was a shame because the CD32 version of the music was awesome, imo.

Both versions are exactly the same, and both make you choose between sound effects or music. They could have easily fixed that in the CD version but they were lazy. The video just chose to split it up that way to showcase both options.

It looks like the Amiga version runs faster with the music on than with the SFX on. Rip the audio to MP3, and play on your stereo with sound effects option on. 👍

CD32 should have made use of the AGA Chipset. What a shoddy game Battletoads is anyway.

Половину версий можно сразу в помойку выбросить, в неё даже играть не стоит. Кроме 8 битной версий остальные это жалкая пародия на легендарную игру с суперграфикой и суперзвуком (NES)
