The center cannot hold, things fall apart. The British did a good work in putting a knife in what holds the entire Igbo community together. A culture that was embedded in so much wisdom and prosperity was squashed. Although the Igbo spirit was never killed, it lived on in every Igbo person all over the world, the entrepreneurship, the zeal to be successful in all spheres of life is still very evident in these people.

Indeed. How can we fight if our own brothers and sisters have turned against themselves, their ancestors, their traditions, and everything that makes us who we are? Yes, thanks to them, we have fallen.

They came to us with books, each claiming there book is the book of the true GOD but loot our lands, enslaved our people and still claimed our gods are the devils and our societies uncivilized. Whose gods are devils and which societies uncivilized?

The comment section is disabled on the burglar tributes video. It's crazy that the family of the dead man think its appropriate to leave flowers there. Where is their shame? I feel for them on one level, but the man was justiably killed in a home he was ransacking. They can grieve somewhere else, they shouldn't return to that persons house, it's perfectly ok to remove the flowers. And, it must be a confusing enough time for the burglars family, forcing the victimes family to cope with their emotions by laying flowers anear their house is selfish in the extreme. They sound like a POS family, if they had any decency they would leave the old couple in peace.
