Today we are trying out the highly coveted Be Our Guest Restaurant for their Prix Fixe Lunch Menu. It's pricey, but it does come with a photo op of Beast in his Castle. Soooo, that's something! Enjoy!

I agree that for a $62 meal all the silverware should super clean. But about taking 1h30 for the meal doesn’t seem bad to me because it would count like a “down time”. Traveling with kids and having a moment to rest makes a lot of difference since we get there super early and leave after fireworks. But I understand your point! I love to watch your videos and get more info about Disney. Just watched the video about royal table and I was super surprised how good everything looked. Now I’m excited to have breakfast there!! Thanks for sharing 💜💜

Oh you guys do the VERY BEST dining reviews. Concise and on point. We get to see a snapshot of the experience and you have really great honest advice from a visitors’ point of view. I went there in 2015 on fourth of July and oh my gosh it was THE best dining experience I've ever had. It wasn't busy, there wasn't a fixed menu or price and it was very quiet! The food was amazing and our server really went above and beyond... so I'm shocked that it's all gone downhill there very quickly.

I agree with you two. It was a one and done thing with me . The beast never even came near our table. We never called to a table for almost a hour after we checked in.

Wow, I'm so glad that we went when we did! I lose track of time, but I'm pretty sure it was 2013. Seemed like a new place. Six of us (4 adults and 2 kids) had lunch and paid the same amount that you did. Thanks for sharing this review. It will prevent us from wasting valuable time on a future trip.

Your pets stole the show 😍 great review!! If you guys ever go back you should request the west wing. I find it a lot calmer and the ambience wasn’t an issue for me! Requested it 3 times and it’s never been a problem for them to sit us there. Headed to watch your other dining reviews!

Ate dinner there in 2016. The food was great! Back then there was a meet and greet with the Beast . Great picture opportunity. Changes .... not for the better I think I have had the one and done with this restaurant.

Love this review. Totally agree about the ambience - we always used to request the West Wing for that reason, because it’s a bit more intimate. We haven’t been since they brought in the prix fixe, but dirty forks have NO place at a $143 meal!!

Have only been there once in 2019, and it was a much different experience. We had one of the first dinner reservations, so being seated at a 4 top, in the ballroom felt like we were one of the only families there for a short time. It did fill up quick and I agree, it is a very loud restaurant. But our server was exceptional, he explained everything we were served. If anything, we felt a slight bit rushed between courses. Based on our experience it was completely worth the price. Always hate to hear the non-magical experiences, but if you are a Beauty and the Beast fan, I think it is worth it!

We went there for a late dinner so we didn’t mind the long wait - but I totally agree it is not a good use of park time. That being said my older kids said it was there favorite food of the trip (they didn’t pay the bill )

I miss the lunch quick-serve option too. Glad you enjoyed the food. Agree with other commenters that other rooms are a little calmer. Get where you’re coming from re: just doing a quick walk-thru to check out theming but if I’m paying $$$ to dine there I really don’t want “lookie loos” adding to the chaos. 🤷‍♀️

Yeah I agree, but that just comes with the theming. Like everything with these parks, when you get something awesome like the theming, you give up having an intimate setting. Even if they did prevent people that aren’t eating there from coming in, everyone that does eat there still wants to see all of the theming

We have had lunch there before it changed and loved the menu. We didn’t like the dinner menu but wanted to go in the evening. We did take a late dinner time and just bought deserts and drinks. It was fabulous. We tipped as if we had dinner as I didn’t want to take away from the wait staff. I liked when they came around with the deserts of a fancy rolling cart. Times have changed and not for the better at some of the restaurants. We used to love Chef Mickey’s but now it’s just too overpriced for what you get.

So, so interesting and really helpful for those visiting for the first time🥰 we did Be Our Guest in 2019 and loved it BUT you could order what you wanted (we still had 2 courses and drinks but didn’t spend as much as we would on the pre fix menu and definitely didn’t need three courses in the middle of the day) and the food was ok. The break from the heat was great but it definitely felt like they were just getting huge numbers in and huge numbers out - the service was ok but nothing special as you mentioned. I think the price would put me off even if we were doing it for the first time. Such a shame and my non Disney loving husband says it’s just another way Disney are charging more and giving less. It make me sad to agree with him 😢 xxxx

We went two years ago and I can honestly say I don’t have any memory of what we ate. I know we weren’t impressed, loved the theming but we felt rushed and I can’t remember what we ate but remember feeling very full for a lunch.

You wait an hour to be called into the castle. Then you wait to get served. By that time you are so stressed out you just want to relax but you can't because the courses come so fast. I ordered some meal with small pieces of lobster and something else in a sauce. I just put my napkin over it and pretended I had eaten it. My head was spinning. The grand ballroom was so loud I started to feel dizzy. Once we left there I was ok but I wouldn't go back again. Maybe if Belle was there too I would have been happier. Done with Disney.

Very, very noisy. When they first opened their pick your sandwich lunch was great. Dinner in the rose room ok. Now with their fixed menu we are not interested. It's just not a comfortable place to eat and ho-hum food more like a 2. Oh, and the Beast made a very quick walk through, barely saw him. Beautiful inside when empty that's the best part.

The beast did not show for our meal Dec. of 2021. Th said he is not he only comes out occasionally at lunch. I was so sad

Absolutely, agree with Dan in that this is another Space 220 situation. Go see the beautiful castle 🏰 as the rooms are stunning, but the food is mediocre and it's Extremely overpriced. Definitely a 1 and done now that there is no quick service here. 😑

I definitely would NOT go back here, and had been so excited to go last year. We had tried the 2 previous trips and couldn’t get in, and then it wasn’t fun. Food was good, but that was it. And then with price and service I was so let down! And yes, Beast comes out but so quickly. And they must have forgotten one of my kid’s meals (older kid, so adult meal) and it took so long we were late for one of our Genie plus rides and thank goodness we had a cast member that (barely) let us still go late.

Eww dirty fork really? Gross! Spending $62 for an adult and $37 for kids and the service was lacking? No way. I’ve been there a few times before the menu was switched to a prefix menu. I do agree it’s super loud in there and the theming is pretty cool. Also I didn’t see the Beast shimmy as you described on the podcast lol! Love when your pets make an appearance on the videos too. 😊

Fun fact, having been a cast member: Cast members with blue name tags are recipients of the prestigious Disney Leadership Award. Only a handful of cast members are nominated each year. So if you see someone with this name tag, odds are they are an outstanding cast member! Otherwise, all name tags will be white. Even for people in corporate. :)

Ahh, yes. I've had the teenager who is a picky eater. So your paying an adult price and then they pick and pick and pick. Then 45 minutes after dinner, you get the I'm hungry. So we've switched to more quick service as a result.

a few years ago, we went for breakfast...worst experience ever. I never got my breakfast while my husband and son both got theirs. the service was terrible! never again!
