Hi, i have been enjoying the videos. The torque spec must specify the use of anti-seize? I am used to passenger cars where I am encouraged not to use anti seize on bolts as it will effect the torque value. Thanks

Horses for courses. Track, weather, power output. Both Goodyear and Hoosier really only have limited no of heat cycles before they have nothing. But both are very good tyres for the well heeled. This is applicable to drag, dirt, road racing. Some other brands have more heat cycles but probably are not quite as good initially. Of the two my preference is Hoosier but not by much. And that is dirt and road racing. But I am sure applicable to drags as well. And driving any race tyre on the street is both dangerous and making that tyre hard real quick!

Thanks for the video. I have a question for you if I may. You said that you will bring the tire down to 6# but my question to you is how do you determine the correct tire pressure for your car? How do you know what you really need? I mean we get 6# but how do you determine if you need 7 1/2 instead, thanks.

Use a tire pyrometer for setting tire pressure perfectly. Otherwise it's guess work by looking at the tire footprint and seeing how the car handles and how the tire wears

@@slowpoke96Z28 a tire pyrometer is a temperature probe for tires. Do a hot lap, then measure tire temps on the center and near both edges of the tread. The hotter places have more contact with the pavement. Adjust tire pressure, camber, and car corner weight to get even temps

@@slowpoke96Z28 for drag racing, you might get great 60 ft times with lower tire pressure, but the car can get unstable at high speeds. Be careful and adjust gradually

This would be much better without all of the "One thing a lot of guys miss", or "Something a lot of people forget" bullshit. Just do the instructional video without all the condescending bullshit. If as many people missed all the shit you say they do, then you would be the only racer with working beadlocks.
