In this episode I bring in all my beautiful shubunkin goldfish from my multiple goldfish ponds. I also have very large koi ponds but they stay outside all winter.
I bring in and begin sorting the fry from our best spawn ever. There are hundreds and hundreds of baby shubunkin goldfish. You need to see how many beautiful shubunkin goldfish there actually are. I had to add aquariums to accommodate all of them

Sooo much work involved bringing in the fish for the Winter and sorting them. Not only do you work hard on all of our ponds but you have to close up your Moms pond every Fall as well! And NO you can’t get another fish tank for the “fish bedroom”! I caught that in your video Stubbs!!🤣🤣🤣 Big shout out to our Daughter Carling for designing Stubbs new Stubbs Aquatic shirt!!!

Hey Chris, finally got a chance to check out the new video. When I get back home on Monday, I have a lot of work to do (already getting our 1st frost). It got cold very quick this year, hope that doesn't mean it's going to be a bad winter. 🤞 Fish look great Chris 👍

Yeah definitely hit the jackpot for these guys breeding. It's going to be a lot of work sorting through the mall unfortunately. Lol.. we haven't seen 20 in almost a month although it's finally going to warm up into the mid teens this weekend..yes goldfish can be very prolific but you have to remove parents immediately otherwise they will eat the eggs... Those fry mainly came from one female in two different spawns

Man you got so many fry this year, it's going to be tough to pick out the nicer ones, you should build a small indoor pond like the one Jack and Dan just built, it would definitely give you more space for your fish, it's going to be interesting to see how the fry color up and how their patterning comes in, nice job breeding them this year Chris!

I so wish I could do that being that I built a wall and added several tanks. Any space I had left in my fish room is pretty much gone. I'm just trying to think of somewhere else I can sneak it in without my wife knowing but the odds of that happening are really poor. So for now no indoor fish pond. And thanks Dan for cheering on Greg on his idea. My wife reads this. I could be staying at one of your places hahaha by the way Greg, if you like any of these let me know if as I value your opinion being that you had such beautiful fish, I sure wish I could share some with you but you know borders and all

Yes Magnus all the fish are in even the ones I keep at my mom's. It's really getting cold here now. I'm glad I moved them when I did. That would be some indoor gardening for me and sorting through all these fish now

Holy goldfish, that's a ton of fry! I can't imagine having to pick 8 out of those 😶. There's an adult female I believe, almost all white with a yellow head, black speckles and 2 black lines running through the tail that kept catching my eye. She's very pretty. The fish in main frame at 3.03 dot pattern with yellow head is simply stunning. I love the patterning and colouration. I think of all the goldfish species the shubunkins are the best looking the fan tails and bubble eyed fish are ridiculous and them with the big lumpy heads(ranchu?) Are hilarious. Wow so many fry, they are all gorgeous fish. Shame about the greys but I suppose we cant have it all. Closest to live feeding i get is brine shrimp and black worms but never other fish. Hope you and Sandra have a good weekend 😊

Alison.. Thanks so much again! The one you're referring to at 3 minutes in is a male Unfortunately. I wish it was a female. It does have striking colors and well it's black and white but I really like it and that's why I kept it and I'll be using it more for my breeding programs. Thanks again for everything. So it needs to be something you are interested in. They will return the kindness.. and will follow back...or some will. Obviously you can't follow everyone back nor watch everyone's videos You will find that you will get a small loyal base that will always watch your videos as they know you will return the kindness.. You also want to attract KZfaq viewers that don't have channels.. They expect you to comment back showing interest in their comments as you build a relationship. I still have a very small channel but I put work into it by putting out videos every Friday.. Hope that helps

I would not recommend it as these fish can get up to 16 inches ..that would be too many.. you want them to be able to grow.

I certainly do my friend. You wouldn't want to take a 14 or 15 hour plane ride over here and help me would you Well? It's probably closer to 24 actually. Plus you don't want to come here for winter unless you've experienced the Canadian winner before and if you have you probably don't want to come back hahaha. Take care.
