Tbh idk what to think about this movie On one hand modern sequels/remakes of classic films aren’t usually great, for example the 2016 ghostbusters But on the other hand Tim Burton is the director so if anyone can make it work it’s the director of the original plus Michael Keaton is returning

The show might have a few things against it. The Maitland's caseworker. Even though technically she wasn't a main character. She has really brought life into the movie. The actress has passed. The actors of the maitlands have aged. Don't know if I could relate pull off the ghosts of their younger selves. Michael Keaton has age too but since he's makeup shouldn't be a problem. I hope this movie's not just that nostalgia bait cash grab. As of right now I'm undecided.

The waiting room scene and the shrunken head have got to be in the movie! Otherwise that gag ends up being wasted! 😁

I have to be honest I don’t like this trailer simply because the marketers are trying make ir deep and somber. For some reason Hollywood has this idea of trying to to take old action and comedies and imprint them into a dark toned, somber context (what’s up with that version if Harry Belafonte’s “Day-O”? Beetlejuice is supposed to be fun and colorful. Contrastingly, they love to take more serious shows, like 21 Jumostreet or Starsky and Hutch and make them stupid comedies. Note: I’m still excited for the actual movie, but I’m gonna miss my childhood crush, Geena Davis.

Kind of you to not mention why Jones didn't return. At least Hollywood seems to have gained some common sense and made a sequel rather than another boring, uninspired and soulless remake. Nothing could convince me to watch that Roadhouse remake with Gyllenhaal.

Maybe they're sick and tired of all the phony ghost hunters out there and they go to teach them a lesson! Lol, I dunno. I can't wait though since a majority of the cast is baaaaack!
