Jordy my problem was I cared too much that I thought I wasn't good enough to carve wood so nothing got done. My daughter sent me a link of your step by step carving of wood spirit and that inspired me to start carving and not be to critical on my own work. So far i have only carved 4 small wood spirits. I find I can follow your videos easy and you have a great sense of humour, I do enjoy them. Do you have live chats I would like to join if you do. PS send regards to Bob

Love the carve, and that you used a "waste" piece of wood. I like the wedge shape. I'm getting ready to start a 2D carve (on waste wood)👍, so the tips here help alot. Thanks for the videos, Jordy!😊🙏Carry on!

Jordy you rock brother. I find the beauty is in the imperfections of the work. look at nature around us, it's made imperfect and in that it is perfect. I hope that makes sense.

I think your term of "I don't care" really means "It doesn't matter" I like your work. I am brand new to this. So new I haven't even carved anything yet. I'm still getting some things together and trying to make some room in my basement or garage for a work bench. I may have to do it outside in the back yard until I come up with some filtration system.

I personally don't have a problem that you say "I don't care" a lot. In my opinion, sometimes you have to say it. If I don't say "I don't care" once in a while, I get too stressed about carving mistakes.
