These eyes remind me a bit of the actor Anthony Hopkins. Great tutorial, Jordy. I always worry I'm going to be upset by screwing up the eyes on my pieces. So maybe I'll just grab a long board and fill it with eyes for practice. I think a lot of people get caught up on perfection, and while I think it's a great goal, a lot of art is merely suggestion. So, like you say, if it reads as eyes, then it's eyes. They can be made to look a lot of different ways. Thank you for reminding us to just have fun with it while we learn m create.😊💯👍

I don’t know why, but I really like this job! It turned out that he smiles, but his eyes are sad. As if he knows that life is a difficult and sometimes not very fun thing!)

You are my new wood carving sensei, Jordan. I cannot believe the end results every time. I'm just starting out with little projects with a Dremel and bits. I have screwed many practice pcs as the bit grabbed the wood and did a notch where I wanted it smooth, Joys of learning wood grain and behavior. Well done my friend.

No face is symmetrical, if you place a mirror on an image of a face to represent symmetry it looks uncanny.
