Took the t4 out to my local testing grounds. This is my favorite wheel for trail riding mainly for its size and suspension, but the cutout in this video really set me and my riding back.

Your riding is at such a high level. I still can’t figure out how you don’t have more pedal strikes given your attacking riding a rockiness. Great stuff.

Great video and riding. A real service to someone looking into EUCs. Unsolicited advice about getting back on the horse. I have been down hard enough on motorcycles to require surgery. There are conditions I won't ride because things beyond rider control can just send one over a cliff. That part is a personal decision. But there is no shame in riding safer conditions. Second. Learn a martial arts roll from someone really good. Preferably a soft art. Rolls. Do not practice break falls. Those will instill/program a poor reflex in your early training. Ghost anyone who wants to even show you a break fall before you've got 10K+ rolls under your belt. Start like 20 at a time, slow and perfect, on a pad or thick grass. Work up to a hundred plus at a time. Work up to hard dirt. Then concrete. It has saved me more than once. Thanks again.

Thanks, I’m slowly getting past the ptsd from the cutout, but I’ll always continue to ride this type of terrain. As a skater and later in high school did Greco wrestling so rolling is def a nice skill to have, but have noticed with eucs and feet being locked in as tight as I do that there isn’t enough reaction time to roll out of some instances, but when you can it helps a lot. Cutouts just really suck but are a reality of the sport

Hey man, I was wondering which tire you have? I ride my T4 a lot on the street out of necessity but do some offroad for fun. I started with the cst 1773, and I think it's hands down the best street option for this EUC, but it sucks in wet grass, snow, loose dirt or mud. I switched to the cordial that came on the v12HT, and it's sick on loose stuff, slow wearing for a good lifespan, and in theory good on the street as well, but for me it wants to lean over a lot more in corners than the CST, and is much more twitchy. Do you think there are any dualsport options for a 16" wheel / 12" rim that adaquately handle on the street with decent tread depth to throw dirt and mud? Also, thanks for the video, this is what I sent people when they ask what kind of offroad the T4 can handle - you're an amazingly talented rider for sure.

All the brands seem to have issues. I just got out of hospital with a pinned leg after my v12ht cut out on a flowing trail mid corner- no apparent reason for it - the wheel just dropped me. When I’m healed up in 3 months and can get back on the wheel I’m definitely going to be a bit gun shy😕

Great narration and information. Thank you! I have been primarily a street rider and have been considering both the T4 and the Master (non-Pro). Any thoughts on Master vs. T4 for mostly street use? The power of 134 volts appeals (acceleration), but the additional weight of the Master does not. I'm not that aggressive and have rarely exceeded 35 MPH or 25 miles.

That’s a hard one the t4 is much slower than the master but is much more playful. Think if you want to do 20-25 miles I’d probably get a master just to have peace of mind. T 4 will be more playful master will be more buisness

@@wattssingletrack8874 … Did you ever try a V12HT. It’s not a suspension wheel so not a wheel you’d be interested in but it’s a similar size , weight, and power as the T4. Just curious what you think of the V12 for a newish but decent rider (learning fast). I ride on pavement 70% and easy off road stuff 30%. It seems like a good wheel for $2k. I’m not sure why but I’m more drawn to the V12HT over the T4 even though I haven’t tried either lol. Cheers

@@wattssingletrack8874Your riding style is the ultimate test for any euc company that wants to build the best euc possible. please reach out to companies and request that they allow you to test their products. possibly for one month each, approximately. if i were starting an euc company, i would have you as a tester, i would request that you push the euc to your limits, and keep going. and to give feedback on what you like, what you do not like, and why, in the greatest possible detail. we need you. you can raise the bar on quality control. if you can somehow be involved, your voice is important. i appreciate your great videos. i was thinking of buying a t4 as my first suspension euc, but now i am highly reluctant. most of us would love to be able to ride as good as you, or to keep up with you to some degree. there is no reason that any euc company should not be requesting your input on product development and quality control. i am talking about building euc’s with not only the best materials and electrical and mechanical engineering practices, but reimagining balance, weight, strength of materials. ergonomics, and every aspect of design. keep up the great work! and know that we all appreciate you!

not the fault of the rider ? are you joking ? who told you that you can take this wheel to this trail ? Begode never said this wheel is for this kind of loads . you assume that it is . but you have to remember - Begode is a toy company . the T4 is not a vehicle - it's a toy . Don't expect it to perform like my Honda Talon SXS 1000X . Everyone that takes EUC to these trails should know - the quality build of none of the EUC's today in the world is not build to handles long term load and the fact that you could finish trail or two means nothing. you jump with it and run it through hell and forget Begode is not Ford motors with 5000 engineers . Do you know how many engineers work in Begode ? 3 - and each has like 4 years experience. you expect things to work all the time like in your apple iphone . Apple has 12,000 engineers my friend. with some of them industry veterans. curb your expectations .

Wow you seem super salty. I’m actually in normal contact with begode and yes I know I’m pushing the limits of these. No euc is made for this but if we do it and they listen to what we want we’ll eventually get an off-road wheel. Bottom line is this was not a rider caused cutout due to overcurrent or anything else. Simple electronics failure at the pcb level. Hope your day improves you seemed very personally upset at this not sure why. Feel better bud. Also fyi Iv got over 3000+ miles on these trails so …. Your comment means nothing

@WattsSingleTrack I don't like people doing that. I dont give a dam about begode or any other manufacturers. I am worry about your safety. What do I care what happens to the wheel and who's responsible for fixing it. I am just saying it is a toy level product so be careful. The Chinese manufacturers don't design it to off road level heavy duty. I have sxs Honda. - the build , materials , everything - not comparable to this toyish thing.

@@robertbarel896 okay 👌 go ride your Dirtbike then. I never claimed it’s a Dirtbike but it’s more than capable or handling these trails speaking from experience. But yes at the end of the day these are all toys, just like a Dirtbike is. I come from an mx background

@@wattssingletrack8874 most people that ride these hard have mx background, did the wheel work after the cutout or was it dead dead?
