So cute to see the woman who played the mom and the boy who played Henry having fun together pretending to get whiplash. Their smile at each other was so real!

As a Fatality Crash Reconstructionist, I have to say this scene was incredibly well done and horrifically accurate. Kudos to all involved.

@@JuliaJiggs in a nutshell, we use scene measurements, conditions(road/weather/lighting/people themselves), damage to vehicles/objects, occupant kinematics(how someone moves/is thrown around and injured in a vehicle), to piece together how/ why a crash occurred.

Since the last payphone was also just removed from NYC recently, this also hit me seeing Henry in the payphone. I'm sure going to miss seeing those!

One thing I think was missing is a few of the Henries actually visibly trying to stop her from getting in the car or driving forward, and then get to see why that fails every time since that is how it happened the first and only time.

I think it would have even been cool for the mom to see a 10 year old Henry somewhere along the road trying to stop her, and she turns to her Henry and say, "That kids looks like you." and then Henry says something like, "You think many boys look like me."

Henry tells child Henry something will stop him from reaching his mom in the mom stumbling scene so he reluctantly accepts that. Older Henry says, “ And you already know that.” He can’t change anything.

Aaah Steven Moffat. Please don't mess this up. It's amazing so far but please keep the story simple and don't bug it up like hiw you ended doctor who. Please

The author endorsed the series. Says it’s accurate portrayal of her book. Moffat, who also loved the book, says minor changes he had to make were for modifying script to fit tv series format.

@@richardmahn7589 no no not officially. I mean during his run 😅😅 he did not wrap up the series in a satisfying way and what he left for us was very disappointing.

@@mgariepy42 oh yes I know all that. And I belive the series is fantastic 😌 so far. But Moffat has a big issue with endings however. During his last tenur on his previous work doctor who it was quite apparent that any time the character was put into an ultimatum where he has to choose between two things, A or B. Often than not he creates a a third option "C" which is played out as the right decision. And it's a good story technique but usually option C is pulled out of nowhere or even contradicts the reason A or B were so important to choose. Sometimes option C is a combination of A and B which in the situation doesn't make sense at all. Thats really where my worry lies in his directing.

@@Gundam_JAY Moffat is following Neffennegger novel faithfully, including her ending, which, I’ve heard , comes in S2.
