Ben Ledi is a familiar landmark from Callander and the highest mountain in the main part of the Trossachs. It is a very popular hillwalk and its position on the edge of the Highlands makes it an excellent viewpoint.

going up via Stank glen is a longer circular route which used to be muddy but now has good paths ,cheers@@ontheadventuretrails-scotl9389

That was great guys some great footage on the way up and down ben Ledi is a brilliant hike and one i haven't done for over 20 years i really need to get a wee trip up considering its only 45mins away from me thanks again for the great footage. ATB Ally 👍

Great wee hike that. Was last there about 2-3 weeks ago and abandoned it 3/4 of the way up,the rain was torrential. Still enjoyed every step 😉

@@ontheadventuretrails-scotl9389 you can also carry on after the summit and come down through the woods further along,and back to the wee road along towards the lodges,making a good circular walk,bit boggy in parts but nice all the same and adds a bit more distance . Glad you both enjoyed your day. Great video as always guys 👌

It's a shame you didn't get the views at the top. If you keep on going when you get to the summit you can loop back down though Stank Glen which brings you out at the back of the cabins and makes a much more interesting route.

He buddy, The loop was actually the intention but given the weather we decided just to head down. We’ll do it again soon though. We fancy a bivvy on a nice clear winters night at some point. 😁👍
