I'm a trans woman and I got an ad for this on IG. Bio indicates I'm trans, I follow trans and queer people, nothing about my user data would make a Daily Wire ad make sense. They're intentionally putting their first-frame-transphobic ad in front of trans people to "trigger" them and so we can go shout about it and do their work for them. I just laughed and reported the ad. It's too obvious and while it is malicious, I have other more important things to get mad about. Like idk all these anti-trans bills for starters, or pushing for the Equality Act. I barely give enough fucks about this movie to write this comment.

It can be used for gender affirming care for trans people but also beyond trans people some egs including: - kids who hit puberty too early/fast & it's straining their mental, physical, or social health; - young afabs who are developing breasts too big for them to safely support on their bodies, which can give them permanent disfigurements or spinal issues plus leaves them more vulnerable to "adultification" that raises their risks of being sexually predates upon + bullied by peers; this also might save them reduction surgeries in their 30s; - some developmentally disabled kids' families + doctors sometimes choose to slow puberty when it's upsetting or overwhelming the child. Those are just SOME valid non-trans examples of using pubery blockers by kids. This is why we don't get in between families + doctors bc they have heavy decisions to make & outcomes to evaluate. Gender affirming care is valid for any gender.

The fact that he gave it all out that everything they are outraged by is actually all made up and the nuance of the situation undermines their whole intial premise and he said that while giggling like no big deal makes me have no hope for humanity.

The masterpiece has an interestingly deceptive IMDb page. Thousands of Daily Wire rubes and those who like their comedy to punch down have given it 10/10 and written stuff like how great it is to see "an early Adam Sandler" gem.
