Great concise review much appreciated, I agree these prices are a shocker , take from someone who worked a Cadillac, Pontiac GMC , Toyota and Lexus dealership in the late 90’s - early 2000s . It’s funny to see the pickup truck in price range where top tier Lexus models were once priced! 😅

I have the v6 and I’m absolutely happy with it. It gets up and goes, I can haul my quads no problem. I also don’t spend a whole lot on gas.

If you don’t mind the older styling and only having a quad cab then this is the ticket . Definitely get it with the hemi. Affordable price and still looks cool.

Quad cab is great. Full size truck bed with extra space inside. Best compromise.

I bought a 2019 Ram Warlock brand new in 2020 during the lock down for 31k out the door. Mine is a 4x4 with but with the V6. Mine also has the fog lights, tow hooks, spray in bed liner, Ram running boards factory, a power sliding rear glass and a few more interior options topped with Demonico pearlcoat red paint. I felt like I got a deal that I wouldn't get off the lot in 2023

Now in 2024 these are more realistically priced. In Canada they have discounts applied to get rid of remaining stock. They are about $49k CAD... about $37k USD

NIce package, but payload at 1,286 lbs is too low. Honda Ridgeline has 1,500 lbs. Thank you for sharing towing and payload numbers.

Where I’m from most people prefer the older style. I only see the classics driving around, mostly Warlocks. I own a 4th gen and I’ve been trying to get a 5th gen since they came out. I’m a 5th gen fan

They are selling on average for about 8k less than msrp at least that’s what I’ve been finding. Most v8 ones are ranging from 43k-45k (msrp is like 52-53k)

I don’t understand why they still make 4th gen 1500s almost 4 years after the 5th gen came out. I rarely ever see them in my area even though I can’t go more than a mile without seeing a 5th gen.

In my location I rarely see a 5th gen, only warlocks. Depends on what area your in, it’s very popular where I am. Most people in my area prefer the 4th gen style over 5th. I’m a 5th gen man though Edit: They also have lots of left over parts from the 4th gens

Pretty boring truck to be honest. If I had to get a Classic it would have every single option. I’d much rather a 5th gen but I’m use to a 4th.

The pricing of these vehicles are absolutely ridiculous. I’ll stick with my 04 dodge. Been paid off for years and still looks great unreliable.
