My (now 21) yr old was dx at 13/14 with PCOS. She's been on Metformin since then. She' was born with Arthrogryposes and uses a wheelchair and exercises is limited to aquatics. She has major food aversions and that just makes things even more difficult. Thank you for all these videos. We are both concerned about her weight since she's only 5foot and overweight. She can't stomach meat protein - just wish she would do less carbs and more veggies!

Great video. I'm kind of lost. I have PCOS, type 2 diabetes and adenomyosis. I am ballooning in weight. And I've noticed I'm starting to get facial hair. So I'm on metformin I'm also 37, so I'm getting peri menopausal. I'm confused on what type of vitamins I should be on.. doing some research. Green Tea and a keto diet is a great start. But my moods are all out of wack. I have no libido. I'm angry and my bloods said all my hormones are good but my testosterone was elevated. Just wish I was 20 again 😂

Hi, I’ve just heard of Berberine this week from my Functional Medicine physician. There’s a supplement called Berberine Supreme that combines that, with A, E, and other anti inflammatory ingredients that are also breast cancer fighters. I think I’m meant to know about this!!

My daughter can't tolerate Metformin so she's on nothing for her symptoms except supplements and a good diet. I've been trying to find natural solutions so I'm going to buy berberine. One of the worst things she has are problematic periods and facial hair. As a person who never had issues with my reproductive system or any of these symptoms when I was having periods, I feel awful for her. She works out to keep extra weight off and it's a constant struggle that no woman should have to go through. Now, as a menopausal woman, I struggle with fatigue that I didn't have when I was getting my period. You just can't win.

I am on birth control, can I stop that when I start berberine?will my period come back to normal.

The period you have when you’re on birth control is artificial. You are not ovulating when you are on the pill aka not having a healthy cycle. It masks symptoms and doesn’t fix anything (it actually depletes nutrients). Berberine helps to fix the root cause, but without diet and lifestyle change it isn’t enough to reverse PCOS.
