The yacht owners, accompanied by Bering Yachts founder Alexei Mikhailov, partners, staff, and guests, have participated in the ceremony. The construction has started.
B72, a very versatile boat, will have the capability to be either owner-operated or managed by a crew of two. With 120 tons of displacement, she will comfortably accommodate 6 guests in her three staterooms and will carry plenty of supplies for non-stop travel for over 4,000 nautical miles at the cruising speed of 8 knots. Brilliantly engineered, this boat will have noise and vibration reduced to the lowest possible levels, while peach and roll will be nullified by a gyroscope. Thick marine-grade steel of the hull will be able to withstand the elements as well as possible encounters with ice or other small obstacles.
Bering 72 will be a safe and steady home on the water, which can take her owners to any destination accessible by boat.
