another attempt to recreate Johann Bessler's self-turning wheel of 1712. somewhat similar to mt 30 & 31, this variation has shorter pendulum arms, heavier weights, strings/pulleys with less movements. thanks for watching.

thanks, Ken Behrendt, for your comment and many inspiring videos on Bessler's wheel, yes, let's find it out! (dan & linda)

Interesting setup. I've haven't uploaded a new video in a while, but I am still working on the concept. The simplest way to get it to work is to pull the weight towards the center when it's easiest. The one in this video wouldn't work because the two weights are connected to each other near the center which cancels out gravity. There isn't any "secret physics" involved, just do the physics math with vector arrows. It's more difficult to get something self-running on it's own, so get it working with minimal input first.

hi Quantum! thank you. yes, always look forward to your cool vids! Love Chas Cambell/Clem/skinner/2-stageoscillator/waterpower/Witts and especially your ''centrifugravwheel'' & ''sliding weights vs pivoting weights'' way cool! Real life builds are the only way to see what's really happening. The concept in this here vid was a branch off of and inspired by MikeyNed's '' 4 a new hope'' vid, he's done awesome research Bessler 401. You're right, this particular design doesn't work. Linda and i are just lowly ditch-diggers, algebra flunkies, and old fogies, but recently found some very interesting (Orffyreus Coincidences ''Fruit-Wheel'') if you, or any wheel builders such as yourself watch 1-8 and think these are NOT coincidences, email us for something much better to experiment with. let's find it out! thanks & best regards to all, dan & linda. daniel.trakpak@gmail.com

I guess, it's rather too compicated. After studying the whole story of this wheel with all the wittnesses, I come to the conclusion, that it must be much more simpler und robust in design. Thanks a lot for your thoughtsand sharing your work! John

yes, so simple, any workman can duplicate after seeing it. simple and robust, good things to remember, hopefully we can find it out! thank you for comment.
