We do the same, fabulous road as are many in Scotland. We got lucky last September in Scotland and had some beautiful weather. Can still picture the run out of Glencoe with clear skys.

It's a great area, that High Force waterfall is supposed to be spectacular after heavy rain

This whole area is fantastic for riding motorbikes. It's definitely worth putting some time aside to explore both sets of waterfalls. Thanks for watching

Always good to hear from other film makers. Yes a great road with no actual police speed cameras on but I'm always careful not to film myself doing anything stupid, if you do have an accident you don't want your own footage to be part of the prosecution's case. Thanks for the sub cheers.

@@Banditmanuk Definitely the smart thing to do! In my videos you'll never see me go 5 to 10 mph over the limit. Same reason as you. And I don't want any extra editing to blur out my speedo! 😂. Also, thank you so much for the sub! Most appreciated!!

First person I’ve heard not to like Hartside or the roads in the surrounding area

To be honest guys it was a Tuesday and the kids still in school and the roads deserted. The day itself was dark and miserable with very grey cloudy skies, but never rained. I may perhaps ride it again on a more pleasant sunny day though. I just thought that road from Alston to Middleton was rather desolate and not much to see. I did pass a cafe at Middleton in Teasdale which looked popular with bikers but I never stopped there, perhaps I should have done. The road I did enjoy though was the road from Middleton through to Brough which I found much better to ride and where it gave splendid views across to the Yorkshire Dales which is my favourite biking area along with North Yorkshire in general. I wasn't meaning to dis the area at all because all those rural roads are good roads for the motorcyclist 👍🏻. I rode up to Barnard Castle only the other week to visit the resting place of Hannah Hauxwell who was the lone female farmer from Baldersdale in the Pennines who farmed at Low Birk Hat Farm and that was a great ride on good roads to reach there, and I'm so glad I made the trip to pay ones respects to such a wonderful lady.

Two years ago, it wasn't too bad. Like every other road in this country now, suffering from lack of maintenance.

@@Banditmanuk agreed, had an R1, switched to a Street Triple, I’m now looking at an Africa Twin as our roads are that bad!!
