BEST ERIDIUM FARMING LOCATIONS IN BORDERLANDS 3 (Best Spots for Early Game & Mayhem 3)

What's going on guys! This is VinylicPuma, back with another Borderlands 3 video and today, I figured I'd go over what I think are some of the Best Locations or Spots to Farm Eridium in Borderlands 3. In this video, I'll be going over a variety of methods, including methods that involve farming bosses as well as random eridium deposits that you can come across in the game world.
I'll also be discussing the recent changes made for Week 3 of the Borderlands Anniversary Event for Borderlands 3 as well. So if you plan on taking advantage of that, I'll be going over some of the changes here!

A really good way for easy Eridium is the Varkid Legendary Hunt enemy in the Droughts you usually get between 6 to 12 Eridium.

Bauuh Masquerade this. I’ve got over 30 eridium on a good run (before event) including the stacks I find on my way there. Great spot.

For Graveward, I just run to the hole on the left after I drop in. You dont have to worry about sliding off the edge and completely avoid the acid bubbles too. Plus you can aim at his chest easier after you climb out.

Gearbox must add more things to buy with eridum because it's getting useless.

Right and lower prices of weapons at Earl's. 6 Eridium per run then you buy a weapon which is alright while legendaries are raining...not good deal. Time is most precious resource for all gamers.

Actually I imagine extra bank slots or inventory space would be excellent eridium utilisation

Tony Stark More bank/Inventory space would be awesome, I like that idea! Eridium has really become fairly useless in bl3 for me personally, just gonna stock up on it and hopefully they release something more to do with it in the future

i like the idea for more bank/inventory aswel. Currently i have no real use for iridium. I'm not intrested in purple weapons at this point and i bought all cosmetics on my character. I still have like 3k eridium... I cba to gamble on it or the gun gun but ... no they are just time wasters.

The eredium farm in the voracious canopy can be optimized by continued to platform all the way to the top. There's a new-u station there, making it so you'll only have to jump down in order to farm that spot. Much faster. Also, the random eredium come from the challenges. Remember the ones that used to give badass ranks in BL2? They'll give you eredium now. Takes a while to update sometimes, so it looks like you're getting random eredium when loading new zones.

After the Aurelia fight on Eden 6, the door opens to that backyard. All the way back where the Typhoon dead drop is and where a lot of jabbers are, a LOT of eridium spawns...probably like 10 of those deposits

Why does every one run through Carnivora to get to the eridium, Just load into the Guts of carnivora, turn around and exit to the Carnivora Map. Takes less than 20 seconds to get the the farm!!

And the chest does reset every save and quit! I’ve never had it not reset

The carnivora one doesn't require you to save and quit. Just fast travel to the big tank, walk out, and it's reset.

For the Voracious Canopy farm it's better to start from the top, and not besides the water fall. On top it has a save point which makes the grind much faster and it actually saves there on the spot. You also get Eridium for finding those Deleon talking boxes and finally the Deleon chest, the Zer0 hunts, the legendary hunts for Hammerlock and sabotaging the radio broadcasts.

Lavender Crawley and the eridium dig site in the droughts. Very close to each other and large payouts for both.

For the Voracious Canopy one, if you enter that cave on the other side (where you have the village of the Dino vs Jabber fight) you will be almost twice as quick

The chest in carbivora does refill every time you save and quit... I tend to get about 30 eridium from it too.

I'm not sure of its an Xbox thing but when I do the carnivora farm the chest respawns every save & quit whether offline or online any mode or difficulty.

You should start doing videos testing out the nerfs and buffs that gearbox releases so we can find out how good or bad they are and rank them accordingly. I'm a huge supporter of your channel and you are by far the most informative borderlands 3 youtuber. I just get tired of all these other borderlands 3 channels regurgitating gearboxes patch notes like I don't know how to read. I want to see and hear opinions on these nerfs and buffs not hear gearboxes patch notes after I already read them

I think the reason you get "free" eridium on login could be related to the lost loot mechanic.

1:26 you don't need a boss at all best one to farm is a hunter mission or spiecies the Crowley the bug for hammerlock since he spawns 4 mini versions of him self and each one gives at least 2 so any where from 8 to possible 12 eridium

The cartels event spawns dust piles which give mad eridium

I don’t think I’ve used Eridium more then once for cosmetics. Just playing the games for me makes 1000’s in surplus.

the hammer lock hunt monsters also drop some eridium, right now dureing the event. i have 2 characters with earl sold out. i was hopeing for more currency sinks built into the game

i like to farm the Skrakk in the bluff on pandora, like a 30second fight at most for around 3-5 E, also 1-4 mineing cluster could spawn in at the hunt location, also you can farm the venders as well for epics. lots of the legendary nades suck pretty bad so. this method is more about reseting fast, on meyhem 3 it can be pretty random, sometimes you can kill it under 7 bullets and other times it can be reflecting them back at you and be super tanky.

Haven’t done the math, but going through slaughter shaft, seemed like more normal enemies were dropping eridium than before because of the event.

Just ran about ten slaughter shafts and it's about 1 bar every other or every third enemy.

I'd say just farm chupa. Has a couple of eridium spawn areas along the way and despite being nerfed he's still fast to access and kill.

Other than the skins what use is eridium anyway? The slots odds are garbage and I have yet to find any good items for sale that is better than the anointed legionaries I already have. Perhaps around level 30 I bought an anointed shield, but nothing omg worthy to farm eridium.

You'd be better off farming bosses. I spent a bit over 100 eridium on Typhon, got one purple but no legendary.

The fastest way to get eridium , keys , cash and Max stats is just use a save editor like "save wizard" BTW eridium is useless , after using almost 1k keys I found them pretty crap on drops

Fyi you can farm the red chest on Carnivora every time - if you do it in offline mode and close the game and restart every time.
