What's up guys! Today's video is the best exercises for jumper's knee, and patellar tendonitis strength exercises gym. Jumper's knee is actually a relatively common problem with athletes, and a couple of our athletes deal with this. Jumper's knee is something you definitely want to minimize as much as possible, and these are some of the exercises we use to try to limit patellar tendonitis. We do a lot to strengthen to area around the knee joint, so we really work to build up the surrounding muscles. We also focus a lot on hip strength and glute strength, teaching the athletes how to properly load and absorb forces. In some cases, as with our athletes, those with Jumper's Knee tend to be extremely toe heavy and don't properly load movements to incorporate the glutes. So this is a huge goal of ours to teach proper mechanics. Hope this helps!
