I just want to say thanks for giving the advice on the high velocity bullets on the MG42 as I am a MMG only support player and quite aggressive with my playstyle

The fg-42 is honestly really good as well. It doesn’t really hold up in close combat but does really good in medium range, I’ve also had some good luck in long-ish ranges with it too

Thanks. Had a blast with these in Rush. I actually had more fun in cqb since I lived longer and went on a 20 to 1 kill streak with the stg44 - got down to 1-5 hp a few times so I would have probably be downed already prepatch.

I like how the intent of Dice was to make more guns viable, and end result was the opposite.

I wish bfv had more strategic and thought out game play, maybe even a “hardcore mode” with more realistic damage system that rewards accuracy over volume of fire. I feel like battle field is loosing its edge as more and more games feature things like one shot headshots and bullet penetration while battlefield is still using the same damage system it’s been using for years

Basically everything is just a bit shit now except recon. Played twice since the update and won’t be in a rush to play again. Such a shame as things were going well with The Pacific update.

They wanted to level out all the weapons, and what we got? Another 8 weapon META. Another proof that it's meant for christmas noobs.

I feel for assault that the best semi auto only gun is the Turner SMLE is the best. Also, I loved (and still do love) The MAB 38. For the support, I just bought the Madsen in BFV and I haven’t had the the chance (yet) to try it and it is my favorite in BF1.

Ribeyrolles is a really good assault rifle too despite the patch, slap in a 3x scope and enjoy lasering people from all ranges

Nobody talks about the ross mk3 the perfect balance between aggresive recon and large distance killer

I enjoy playing a tactical recon with trench carabine as scout, try it, specially now that all recons are playing on distance a more aggresive stance is funny...

@LevelCapGaming if you have the high velocity bullets speciallization on the MG 42 it wiĺl have it original damage values. Good job dice

Thanks LCAP, basically what I thought, one semi usable gun per class but your going to have to guess if you can win a gun fight as customization doesn't give you a clue, so its one gun rock, paper scissors.

Hey I found this out if you shoot the stuka idk if it works on other planes but their is holes that you can see through in the fuselage.

People are really upset smgs and assault rifles aren't amazing 200m away.

I'm sniping with ZH-29 from now on... might pick up Type 99 Arisaka or Kar-98k from time to time if i feel like headshot-ing

5.2 TTK or not, one thing is true: MMG mechanic does not fit Battlefield's meta. There is no reason to use an MMG over an LMG. More so now...

There is a bug in the game preventing me and many other people from getting the base game level unlocks when we level up the class to that pacific level

We now need to have a graph when selecting weapon telling damage versus distance, a small graph or something like that.

Be sure to rank some good guns for us after the 5.2.2 or whatever it will be called. Once the 5.2 fix on guns comes .. for me need the best automatic guns in support and assault classes. Easy to control at mid or long distance. Thanks for the videos!

For assault Selbstlader 1916 works perfect - for me comparable with STG44, or better for longer bigger maps.

It sure would be nice to use those guns if I could actually unlock anything but I’m stuck using the default weapons lol I really hope they fix this soon

If i wanna snipe I just use medic with jungle carbine, unlimited bandages, and smoke launchers to quickly escape being spotted.

Well while we are at it, are someone else’s trophies also also glitched? I am a single trophy away but the difficulty related trophies seem to he glitched since the launch and DICE has no plans to fix it. Would love if lvlcap or anyone could bring this up to them.

I’ve been absolutely demolishing people with the Lewis gun. If you just hold down fire it turns into a laser beam after first 3-4 shots.

I'm a pretty casual player and didn't think the 5.2 patch would affect me much but HOLY COW! My KDR has always been shit (I don't really care, in just here for fun) but it's been below shit. . .dirhrea! I'll try using some of your suggested guns. Thanks for the tips.

Imo you should include the symthic? graphics and detailed stats eg. Actual muzzle velocity in m/s. Im a bit of a stickler for detail and the in game weapon performance charts arent very detailed.

My favorite medic guns are the Type 2A and Sten

He forgot to mention semi-auto AG m/42 from Assault class. 4 bullets to kill at any range. specialize to high velocity bullets and it won't disappoint you at any situation.

My selbslater 1906 got stuck on level 9 and after the update it won't go to level 10 no matter what I do. Does anyone else have a problem like that?

Dice really dropped the ball, bullets should be lethal at range, they need to focus on recoil and accuracy more so than damage for the vast majority of these weapons.

Since the 5.2 update I am not receiving my weapon rewards or company coin? Doesn’t seem to be appearing in my Armory? Anyone else finding or having this problem?

Hopefully I can try these guns out once BFV let's me use the guns I've unlocked instead of bugging out and giving me nothing.

Other then ttk (so not as game effectiv) the US and japanse costemization is broken. I can't have the same person on two classes because they will just copy the thing i do on one class and do the same to the other one

I just wonder what's going on in their minds, just to see were they're coming from, and to see what they're trying to do. I'd prefer every weapon to be enjoyable, but it would be interesting to see the process of it.

I was so dedicated to this game since release even with all its problems, i thought the first time dice messed around with the TTK it was a genuine mistake but to change it the second time im like really who is making these decisions ive been playing battlefield since bad company 2 but all this spotting crap annoys the crap out of me what happened to stealthy gameplay feeling like ur in the game thinking what route to take next without being spotted on a mini map the game is going down hill and makes me feel so down about it all, to a game i was loving to now i dont even think twice about loging back in 😣

Idk man I like the MAS 44 for Assault, paired with a 3x optic it's really solid imo

When the Jungle Carbine can beat the M1 Garand in a 100 meter gunfight, you know DICE jacked up the guns.

I used almost every weapon. The only weapons I didn't use wasn't because of their damage, the deciding factor for me is if I like how the guns feel.

How to get the Madsen MG? I don't have this gun in my inventory.

the m1922 is probably the best MMG all around now. Great accuracy and TTK
