Best Laser Level Dovoh Vs LasGoo showdown. In this video I compare the Lasgoo Laser Level to the top of the line Dovoh laser level. Both of these levels performed well. However, the Dovoh is geared more toward construction use and carries a 5-year accuracy warranty. The bright green laser line shows up much better than the Lasgoo. But comes at a hefty price of $100 more than the Lasgoo. So if you're working indoors, the Lasgoo is a very strong option sporting a better mount.

Depending on your use case. I'd choose one over the other. The Dovoh, is a no-brainer for outdoor use. Indoor, while the laser is still much brighter. You could easily get away with the LasGoo for less money and the bracket that attaches to regular camera tripods.

When you put the bracket on tripod, you need to unfold the bracket, the screw part can be rotated 270°, then the laser will be the right position.

I am getting old. I couldn't even see the outside lines on the video when you said they were there. BTW, I think you need to rotate the "back" of the Dovoh bracket (with the thread mount) down so that it is horizontal, then it mounts normally on a tripod.

That's exactly correct. Once it gets to s certain point you have to use more strength to push it all the way. It feels like you're breaking it at first, but that's how its meant to be.

I have I believe the cheaper version of the lasgoo and it has different brightness levels. I would assume the higher priced one that you have would too? Just curious if it does have that option how much it would change the outcome. Because mine is brutally bright!

I don't doubt it! Their mounting bracket is phenomenal! It is only somewhat universal though.

What timestamp? I can tell you what was going on. I did notice when I was in the garage it was moving a little bit, but the wind was blowing really hard. Any other time I was touching it in some way, LOL.

@@dustinkrebs8229It was also on the smaller, regular camera tripod. Three Dovoh is a lot heavier than the Lasgoo. This is a great point to capture because the Dovoh overall was meant to be mounted on a heavy duty tripod. You could still easily get away with a heavy duty camera tripod however.
