I know was so confused as to what Daves issue really was, first off he took a right hand turn and instead of pulling into the nearest lane and then signaling and changing to the middle lane he immediately pulled out into the left lane which is illegal...then he talks about doing an illegal turn.....wonder if he turned this into the cops as evidence...would be nice to know how many citations he got....not to mention rear ending the guy after he passed him, and the guy wasn't brake checking him all the traffic around him came to a stop as well for the light ahead of him.....I mean he had at least 4 citations from just that one incident.

@@mimcduffee86 no she’s saying the owner of the black Jeep grand Cherokee reported it to their insurance and their insurance found the sedan at fault. She also drives a jeep (hence calling it the other jeep) and she’s saying her Jeep didn’t suffer enough damage to warrant her filing a claim.

As hard as it is to say, the pov driver of #3 is at fault. If you’re backing out, you have to yield to other cars on the street. If you back out in front of someone to try and beat them, then obviously you’re not being safe. I hate when people try and claim their reverse lights when they’re backing out means they have the right of way over someone in the middle of the street and that they have to wait for them even if there isn’t any room for them to back out

@@xczechr ..Key words '"if no cars are coming". That's rarely the case, as demonstrated by how many clips we see of accidents from this scenario. If no cars are coming they can wait 30 seconds for me and the rest of traffic to get out of the way and will then be able to safely make their move. I hope you're not one of those people who creates these gaps trying to be nice and thereby puts others at risk. By the way, if the person trying to merge just wants to get in front of me in the curb lane I'll leave a gap and let them in. But never if theyre wanting to cut across multiple lanes like shown in the clip.

#8. Living in NJ this is too common. Usually it is double left turn lanes. And you ALWAYS have to turn slow because 50% of the time the person on the inner lane swings wide when they turn.

I45 in Euless, Texas. I know it well. Just up 145 toward Houston, in Corsicana, my daughter and her husband were hit head on by a drunk in a Ford Econoline van who'd crossed into oncoming lane in construction. He was killed instantly. He'd swerved to the right just enough that my daughter survived with severe injuries. She married his younger brother a couple years later, and she just had her first child. Rest in Heaven, Robert White. December 28, 2017.

5:35 So many people turn wide or drift into different lanes when making a turn. It's annoying as hell. You should always be turning into the lane closest to you. So, if you're making a right hand turn, you should be turning into the right lane; if you're making a left turn, you should be turning into the left lane (assuming multiple lanes in your direction, that is). Also, get off the damn road if you need to pull over. Were your vehicles so severely damaged that you couldn't drive another 200ft and pull into a parking lot?!? This goes for police stops, too. Take an exit, don't stop on the damn freeway (unless the next one is really THAT far away).

Nope - the brake check determines whose at fault. Kinda surprising how many idiots here (who probably drive) think that the cammer's at fault. The brake check is what caused the accident. Brake checks fall under "road rage" and they present a deliberate attempt to cause an accident - whether the idiot doing it understands that or not.

@@glennsmusicchannel In this one case you might be right, but in the majority of the cases if you hit someone from behind and you didn't record it you might end up taking the blame. Keep your distance and you might avoid trouble more often than not. I see people on the highway at speed leaving 4 feet of space between one another. 95% of people do that. One makes a mistake or changes lane at the wrong time and the travel is over for 15 cars. It might be a good idea to research or test how much space you need to come to a complete stop at different speeds, and if someone ends up crashing in front of you, you'll need that space, and not be part of a quarter mile chain reaction. I even make people behind me keep distance, if they're too close I just release the gas pedal slightly until they decide to pass.

You can obviously see that there is traffic and he had to brake eventually. We can not tell how far the cars are spaced from each other. He really shouldn't have increased his speed where there was traffic on a green light but the other guy did such an illegal and dangerous move.
