Judge Lynn Toler is one of the few people on TV that truly cares. She is intelligent, perceptive, and straight-forward. We need more people like her. She is fierce. She holds people accountable- and apparently (and very sadly), for many people- from all parts of our society- "accountability" is not something they face in the real world. If people are unwilling to recognize they are responsible for their actions, nothing is going to get better - our entire society will continue to go downhill.

But I feel like society has made marriage seem like just a temporary thing like "Oh I'm going to get married and live like I've always lived and if he or she don't like that I can just divorce them. I remember seeing this case when it was originally broadcast. The Judge even offered a disclaimer at the beginning of the case: "I have to warn you, I lost my temper, I lost my cool, and this day, I just couldn't take it." I seem to recall this was during a week of special cases which were called "Unleashed" or something like that. I've always preferred Judge Mablean to Judge Lynn, but this is absolutely Judge Lynn's finest moment, and possibly one of the finest moments of any TV judge on any show.
