@@Kosmicd12 The only level in LL, including 2j and SNES All Stars, that is in any way a break to the cycle is 4-3, 7-3 and 8-2. The other levels are mirrors or alternations on these levels, but no paradigm is changed.

@@gandalf8216 how are you including 8-2 but not 5-3 and 7-2? How did you pick 4-3 of all stages? That's one of the most hold right and jump stages in the game lol. 7-1 has a ton of paths, 3-1 a bunch of secret areas, all the castle stages in worlds 3 through D are very interesting and good, world 9 is clearly an unusual set of levels, good luck beating 2-2 while just holding right and jumping, the water levels are well designed, yeah... I don't really understand this take. Most 2d mario is "a sequence of go right levels." smb1 is the biggest of all of these. If you're focused purely on beating them, smb1 stages are like entirely uninteresting. 2j is much more interesting in that regard, and of all the stages to praise, you picked 4-3 which has to be the most go right level in the game lol. Can I see the muscle memory in action? $100 for a stream of worlds 1 through D in under 1 hour.

Double negative is a little confusing, but I think you're asking why you don't do 2 flagpole glitches every run? It's already a challenge to get a 21:19 without them, and including all of the "easiest" timesaves before any flagpole glitches will take you 10 seconds past that even. Doesn't make sense to reset a bunch for 0.35/0.7 seconds of timesave when there's 15 seconds of easier timesave out there that we're already struggling to get.
