I have this same Betamax player, funny part is I have it hooked up to our 4K television 75inch Samsung, the quality of it is a decent picture. Sure drives the girlfriend nuts but that’s OK. She can keep her Netflix 😂 Also for the info, it is a 1979 player The model if you have interest is the VR9000W. Great lucky fine guys!

When I was 8 or 9, I would secretly set my parents monster Beta machine to record Sat. Night Live in the late 70's (when SNL was good). Of course I couldn't record the entire 1.5 hour show, only 30 or 45 min tapes. I got caught watching the tape one Sunday morning, but it was well worth it to see Mr Bill get smashed by Mr Hand! 😂
