My solution was that I was so bad in the base game that I over leveled on the base game but just barely didn't get to Ng+ but still got gud, I am level 120 not in Ng+ and the boss difficulty is perfect for me

the thing is that cancellation fees make sense for some services, like imagine you contract a catering service that has to slot time and resources for you, but if you cancel half way though the service they should get paid for that lost time. Putting it into law would be a mess, but I agree that something like a software licence should not have cancellation fees.

The government forcing companies to be up front about cancellations and how a customer can go about canceling their services and subscriptions hassle free is a good move. Cause there are to many companies who use scummy tactics to try and slow that process down or wear you out in hopes that you just give up and keep paying the fees instead of trying to cancel.

Fun Fact for those wishing to cancel an Adobe Subscription: If you are looking at a bullshit large cancellation fee, simply switch to a cheaper Subscription, immediately refund it, and you’ll avoid the large cancel fee. (As well as get your money for the subscription switch back a day later.) Adobe tried to take $104 for trying to cancel my Photoshop subscription, so after spending $10 I avoid that bullshit and got my $10 back a day later. Fuck Adobe.

Unreal is right there and can do everything creaton can do quicker and easier. if bethesda dont want to pay licensing on an engine then they have access to Idtech through their owning of id software.

But for those who cannot pay because for reasons being they can't afford anymore or needed to save up, and they're hit with this cancellation fee, then it's a sneaky backstab from adobe, so to speak. However, there is a loophole for a way out, what you do is change your current plan to another - ideally cheaper - plan, which resets the whole contract status. Then you have about 14 days to cancel the plan with no fee according to the contract terms and by the time you cancel, you can also receive your refund in a few business days. Spread the word to anyone who's faced with this obstacle.

@@SwarfBando Also dont forget it took them 7 years to make Fallout 4 compared to the 18 months it took Obsidian to make New Vegas and look how those games turned out. The mods really carry New Vegas but it had a bad case of development hell so its understandable, although Fallout 4 just sucks though a mish mash of poorly executed ideas all molded together by a voiced protagonist leaving zero room for creative freedom while nothing influences anything in the story where the "faction" you want to pick is dictated on how tedious you want your main questline to be.

I honestly share your sentiment about Elder Scrolls 6. As much as I am a fan of their games, Bethesda's track record these past 5 years has been really bad, and it worries me that the next Elder Scrolls game will not live up to my expectations. I'm still holding out on a little bit of hope though, in that maybe Bethesda will actually pull through and we'll have an Elder Scrolls game that might rival Skyrim, in terms of popularity and hopefully "replay-ability." But yeah, at least modders will always be there for us.

Dismissing the original two Fallout games, because supposedly 'no one remembers those games' sounds, ironically, exactly like something coming from Bethesda. The generation who still remember them, because they've played them in their young(er) years, are the very people who still have money to burn and who would happily fork out the money for decent remakes. I also think that a lot of younger gamers would be very interested in those games, considering the success of isometric RPGs.

It was a pain in the rear to get them running and it is not that much fun to play, without m/kb, but hell yeah, it works and the games run not _that_ bad. Dammit, when I bought the first Fallout on release (yes, I'm a senior gamer :D ), it ran not that much better on the rig that I had back then.

If you click the top of your browser near the URL it usually lets you see it, if it's got the lock clicking that also usually lets you see a simplified version on what Google has allowed them access to certain info of yours.

I looked a bit more into the New York law (Didn't read the entire thing, but hopefully I am not proven wrong), and it says "Existing New York antidiscrimination laws and the attorney general's regulations will require, regardless, that social media companies provide a range of age verification methods all New Yorkers can use, and will not use age assurance methods that rely solely on biometrics or require government identification that many New Yorkers do not possess," so it seems Government Identification may not be required? Hopefully that is the case, as there is no reason why anyone should have to give their ID.

as someone whos beaten most of the bosses for the dlc (and all but one rememberence boss, specifically the final boss of the dlc) yeah... i feel some of the stuff in it could be tweaked a bit, especially the health of the final boss when using summons. it feels like having to fight a literal WALL with your fists when using some of the stronger weapons

Don't bother trying to go through the company, just go to your bank and revoke their permissions to recurring payments. For bonus fun, try to keep using the service despite not paying, if they mess up and don't revoke your access, that's on them.

However, in the event you end up needing an ID to use social media, that kid either: A) Remains completely closeted and unable to have a safe outlet of expression, or B) Risk being discovered by their parents and use their ID to use social media, thus putting their safety at risk. That ID requirement *forces* a connection between real and online personas, making them traceable. And for many queer people, this traceable connection can legitimately put their safety at risk. Queer kids wouldn't be the only demographic in the crosshairs; queer activists would also be put in danger, as it can give doxxers and other bad actors easier means to silence people.

Isn't there a way to get people off social websites WITHOUT actively trying to screw people over at this point. I feel like there is and there probably just to much money invovled for us to take it.

1, 2, and tactics were not only my first official games, but also I somehow played that right before my dad got fallout 3 from a family members' passing, at 2009 I had played every fallout games, at 2017 I beat them all as a teen, and now? im a really big fallout fan, and tbh im kinda happy that they arent remaking fallout 1 and 2. todd said that they just have a certain charm to them because of when they came out and how they've aged that would be sort of lost if they got a "modernized" version, and i agree for the most part.

The too hard part is because they balanced bosses around fragments and summons bosses spam so much that they are just attacking till your out of stamina bosses arnt hard because of interest moves it's hard because they spam like crazy and one shot or 2 shot you on every ability

With Adobe, i wish it was just too long TOS. According to the department responsible for suing Adobe, the part talking about all the fees is hidden away in external links and pop ups that aren't mentioned in the main TOS. That means that even after reading the first part of the TOS, you aren't notified that there's a continuation hidden away on the website. That's even scummier than cancellation fees for a digital only product that can't work without confirmation from an external server that can in seconds prevent you from ever using the app.

A cancellation fee for anything implies you expect someone to find something wrong with your product and stop using it before you can milk them dry. It should not be legal, ever, to charge someone for wanting to discontinue using a product. That is literally taking someone financially hostage
