I played Avatar again after they also put in a 40fps mode and I was surprised how well it felt

The Avatar (the blue people one) game just got a 40fps mode on console and I'm loving it. Incredible looking game.

I fired up Fallout 4 on Series X last night and in true Bethesda fashion it crashed to the dashboard the moment I started firing with my explosive assault rifle.

For me in PC, the Fallout 4 update just broke the paid content (wasteland workshop not working anymore, even though it is listed in installed and my creation club paid content is gone - the cc menu doesn't even show up in game anymore)! I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times and so far, i haven't been able to get the DLC to work! This is very frustrating... When I try to load the old save that uses the Wasteland Workshop, Vault-Tec, Contraptions and the Resolution Pack dlcs, despite appearing listed in game as installed, the Wasteland Workshop and the Resolution Pack dlcs appear in a error message as lost content, even though they are installed!

Sadly after the Update in ps5 the game option menue opens very slowly. It takes up to 12 seconds!!! This makes quicksaving very annoying 😐

Judder on 30 what kind of OLED are we talking about. I really don't notice it. Or are these specific games. Having a sony a80j (2021) now don't see it. Owned an LGc7 (2017) never noticed it. Or am I lucky for not recognising it

I honestly didn't know about the Oled problem until you brought it up, but after playing some locked 30fps games on series x and my new oled it almost feels unplayable at times. I thought it was the games fault at first

That's a shame about Watch Dogs. I enjoyed the first two well enough, and Legion at least took some risks even if they didn't succeed as well as Ubi would have liked. It's kind of a bummer that slip up means the end of the franchise.

Starfield is made on a next gen engine so i dont think you will be able to get 60 fps, locked 40fps maybe.

I'm going to miss Watch_Dogs. It was one of my Top 10 franchises. Still is, technically, but it is now bound to fall out of my Top 10 at some point since it isn't continuing on anymore. But we still need a "GTA Clone," if you will. Or I still need one, at least - since I don't really play GTA. Sure would be nice if Xbox brought back the True Crime franchise...

I didn't like legion in the fact that you get to play as different characters and playing as an old woman that was just kind of stupid but I did like watch dogs 1 and 2

Wide screen support in this update is utter trash and breaks the game, crap update and game was much better before this patch. If you don't have an UW monitor then the update is good.

the surprise is that it breaks 8 years of actual next gen updates and game content created by the community. Fallout 4 a month ago with mods was a true next gen experience with hundreds of hours of extra content.
