I’ve always said that Damage Control desperately needs a comedy series on Disney! DC tried something similar with Powerless which had its moments but sucked overall. But if done right, Damage Control could be amazing!

Agreed. There are many comic properties that are waiting in the back issue bins for an animated series or live action adaptation Dial H for hero and Spider Ham are two of my favorites. Treated properly they could be awesomeness

A cosmic ocd character would be terrifying. Imagine what they would think of humans who throw trash onto the streets and refuse to clean up any mess they create? He would "clean" the Earth of all disgusting trash monster humans and leave the planet after ensuring no human survived.

I have that issue of Damage Control where Edifice Rex came back to Earth and tied up the New Warriors; I got it out of the quarter bin a few years ago. I wish they would do more with him and Damage Control; we need more genuinely funny comic books.

Thank you rob. I am able to pick out characters as they first walk into frame in the movies that I wasnt even familiar with before. I know so much more about my favorite characters and the landscape, universe, and setting than I ever did, and I've gotten to pass time tagging along on the wildest adventures. I have a real appreciation for what you do

It's so much fun being the go-to friend when something wack happens in a new Marvel movie, I muat admit. I LOVED watching Multiverse of Madness so much more than my friends did, because I could pick up on so many more little hints and nods

A ridiculous ending? Absolutely. But also an amazing one. Imagine if they could have stopped the Beyonders by just telling them they were fired and not needed to research the multiverse like they do. "Alright Beyonders your getting laid off, but you've been at the job long enough you should qualify for unemployment. Just make sure your paperwork is filed and in order, have a great day". And the multiverse was saved 🤣🤣

The closest Damage Control ever got as a tv show was Powerless (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powerless_(TV_series)) which was set in DC not Marvel. It worked out ok as a concept, but didn't really go anywhere, and most of the show was confined to the corporate office. It also wasn't quite as smart as similar shows like Better Off Ted, and was just kind of mean and dismissive of the entire superhero concept in general. There's only 9 episodes, so maybe Rob might give it a view while dozing in his bedroom, high on Nyquil? I think a more serious version could have worked, especially with a focus on the kinds of suffering huge disasters cause, but the resilience and hope that you can find as communities pull together (with humor tossed in to lighten the mood).

Like the old molecule man his powers were tied to his State of Mind. The moment he got them he decided that according to his State of Mind you did not belong on Earth at least not for the time being. When he came back he had decided that his job was to clean up everything. As long as he hit the mindset and believe that that was his job heat warp reality in order to accomplish it on a abstract level if not higher. That's why firing him and changing his mindset caused him to remove his own powers even if they're not gone there at least suppressed until he suddenly realizes that he doesn't need to work for damage control in order to exert his powers and decide what he can and can't fix.
