Back out on the bank with the ultralight lure fishing gear, looking for Perch and anything else that'll take the tiny 1gm lures.

Hi, thank you. It is a bit nuts thinking you can land a 9Kg Pike and a 9gm Perch, the range in performance is significant. I think the reel has to take a lot of credit as well, the Aldebaran is an awesome bit of kit.

Hi, absolutely. I’m not chasing big fish, just a bit of headspace and the chance to relax.

Hi, I use AGM Lures for most of the ultra light jig heads. The 0.5-1gm tungsten jig heads are very good, especially with the little leach lures.

I don't get where the lure is an what its doing. Are you just dragging it on the floor? Or is it so light it just hovers mid water? It seems there is no action in the lure, yet the fish still take it.

Hi, I vary how I retrieve the lure. Sometimes I leave it on the bottom, sometimes mid-water. It might not show in the video but I do put quite a bit of movement into the very small lures through the rod tip.
