Bicycle Restoration 🚀-Colnago Master Piú 1988-🚀
Hi friends!!! Today I finally bring you the end of this Colnago Master Piú, which I asked your opinion to make his painting. It was difficult for me to decide, but I think the end result was the right one. The components that I have placed, have been those of the time, nothing more and nothing less than a Campagnolo C-record group, with mavic gp4 rims from the same year, pantographed parts. As I said, I hope you like it and enjoy this beautiful bike. Regards my friend. I keep working to bring you new projects; )

Hola amig@s!!! Hoy por fin os traigo el final de esta Colnago Master Piú, la cual os pedí opinión para realizados su pintura. Fue complicado para mi decidirme, pero creo que el resultado final a sido el acertado. Los componentes que le he colocado, han sido los de la época, nada mas y nada menos que un grupo Campagnolo C-record, con unas llantas mavic gp4 del mismo año, piezas pantografiadas. Como he dicho espero que os guste y disfrutéis de esta preciosa bicicleta. Un saludo amigo. Sigo trabajando para traeros nuevos proyectos ; )

No one does beautiful componentry and frames like the Italians. Campagnolo, Galli, Gipiemme, Colnago, Tommassini, Rossin etc. Perfect build. 👌

A trabajar, ya está bien de vacaciones. 😄😄 Que guapísimo el cuadro en cromovelatto, grandísimo y muy bien montado como siempre. Se te echaba de menos 👏👏👏👏 Has corregido las zapatas de freno, estaban mal montadas en los puentes Delta , al principio. 👏👏👏👏👏👏 Precioso y muy difícil de encontrar, supongo, el termo campagnolo aero. 😮😮 La exposición final apoteósica !!

Ha, ha- I caught that the front brake pads were backwards as soon as you fitted the front brake- " Eeeek- I hope he catches that!" - waited waited, then surely now, testing front brake? All good, caught in time! But goodness- I confess I normally am not a fan of anything gold plated on a bicycle - (love Regina Oro freewheels, and gold chain outer links though)I just found my unicorn- that's stunning! Love your work!

@@dabrestauracion7404 Te envié por Facebook una foto de mi restauración Colnago E1. Lo hice hace un mes. Preste atención al soporte en el que se encuentra la bicicleta. Pinté mi Colnago CT-1 hace 15 años y alguien tomó la idea y encontró un stand idéntico y copiado en una feria.

Nice bike. Yet, it seems like the Campagnolo cranks and brakes did receive an extra polishing treatment while the gold plating of the frame didn't. Looks a little rough and uneven around the BB and dropouts.

Hi, friend!!! It is complicated to make a good polish on the frame, since it needs very small tools to be able to make all the corners, hence the person who made me the gold chrome, did not do it perfectly. Still, it's a beautiful frame. All the best ; )

Beautiful bike. Just needs the toe straps to be twisted through the pedals so they don't slide. And a different water bottle.

Been riding c record 1st edition since 1986 - Started with superleggeri pedals and Binda straps [ worked great for lots of miles ] but didn't match grouppo. Bought c record pedals with step down wide white leather straps and Campagnolo script insignia in early 90's , looked beautiful but I hated them , for some reason kick up tabs didn't want to work - had to reach down and manually raise pedal to get shoe in. Campy's record titanium pro fit clipless pedals look great and don't clash with the vintage grouppo. 2000 era titanium skewers also please the eye and don't rust or sratch anything. Never cared for Delta calipers , recently removed cobaltos [old super record brakes] and installed chorus 1st edition monoplaners - hope I like them.

Increible restauración, la perfección pura. Yo soy de Maldonado Uruguay y quiero restaurar una vieja Colnago de acero, y quisiera saber como podría lograr revivir las piezas de aluminio de la bicicleta, si se usa algun producto o se pulen o algo asi. Gracias por tan hermoso video.

Maravilloso trabajo, David! Una pedazo de obra de arte! Los componentes son NOS? Es que están en tan buen estado que parecen traídos de los 80 en el Delorean, jejeje!! 😂 Me encanta el trabajo tan fino que haces. Me causa curiosidad porqué usas un macho de roscar en la caja pedalier, es para repasar o para adaptar la rosca?
