Thank you very much for including us into your video, especially as a small publisher its a great opportunity :) Knee Deep in Hexes was developed by very analytical people with a Netrunner/MTG background over eight years, which is reflected in the deck construction. They have combined the tactical depth of chess with it, a pinch of C&C/Starcraft/Total Annihilation flavour and have developed a unique war card phase that is resolved at the same time. The game was balanced during hundreds of playstests and tournements, and now we are happy to build a community around it :)

Really looking forward to Knee Deep in Hexes! I tried it at Essen Spiel and the gameplay is really amazing. You get the classic 90s RTS vibe but still it has a quiet innovative fighting system.

Give me gender swaps for all arch types. I've not backed games where they only have strong/fighter women. I don't mind the occasional strong woman, but you better have a strong male figure if you want my money.

I like a good mix with lots of options for everyone. I love that my daughter can have a cool fighting woman but I want a cool fighting guy too :D

Dantes inferno looks great. Been waiting for it for a while since i saw a play through of the 2 parts. But the price of the minis surprised me quite a bit!Compared to how much plastic we get with other games (ankh, mythic battles, etc) compared to $90 just for a few minis...thay hurt a bit. There is a lot of game in there i know, but still...tough.

I will say Dante looks thematically cool. I wonder how it will compare to other boss battlers out there like Oathsworn, KDM, and ATO besides being a lighter-weight option

Most of the addons are actually NOT from stretchgoals. Battle of the trident is, drogon's fury and dice tray (if you meet the reqs). The other boxes are paid extra, and those already cost you more that the drogon's pledge alone...

Yeah, they are basically "everything that you can get later at retail without any exclusive, feel free to add them to your pledge for your convenience or get them at your lfgs later."

Just started Oathsworn 2nd print and love it! Have painted every miniature and terrain and started to play two days ago. Even though i really like the game it's taxing allso, and you have to be in the right mindset to play a big game like this without knowing the rules. That's why i won't back dante,even though it looks good.

Great video KOA. One sort of question. This game feels a lot like oathsworn (which I enjoy so not a bad thing) with its story portion that leads into the boss battler portion with the story portion having effects on the boss combat. As well as a couple of different story outcomes per story/boss round or scenario. Plus it has full characters and characters that have much less overhead. I understand there will be differing mechanics on how they arrive to where they are going, but would you say this game is much closer to Oathsworn than a KDM when it comes to type of gameplay expectation? Thanks.

I just started playing aeon’s end. It’s really awesome. If you like deck builders. I’m pretty excited for descent. Only problem is don’t like crowdfunding. I always wait till it releases and i buy on eBay.

I’d back eve but value just isn’t there for me, same as Dante’s, pretty big ask even for just standees, really high ask for everything AND shipping is higher and higher so unless it really blows me away, it’s a pass for the time being; for me the most recent Nemesis project balanced value, price points, showmanship/marketing, and bottom line costs very well and if I compare that to Dante’s I feel that the latter has missed the mark.

Studio Agate do make good roleplaying products. From what I remember of the preview, the rules seem to be based on their pervious Shadows of Esteren game and that is not a bad thing.

My thing with Tainted Grail is why don't they make some interesting characters, like give me an old magic guy with a Cain, give me a warrior with no hand or something. I liked what they did with Kings of Avalon characters. I am assuming all the new characters are as generic as possible so they can be used in the Rpg, so that anyone can use the mini depending on the character they play.

Hello KOA Do you feel the replayability of Dante will be lower with only 9 boss battles to contend with also in your play experiences did any of it feel repetitive when battling? Appreciate your work and effort on your channel and have enjoyed several games of your recommendation.

I like dante I just feel like there should be..more? 9 layers of hell with 9 bosses doesn't mean there couldn't have been more than 9 skirmishes that still make sense within the story. Maybe I'm just greedy 😅

Any thoughts on the other dante-themed game coming out almost at the same time. Seems unfortunate to have two very similar-themed games arrive at almost the exact same time. Even if the gameplay is very different

i have 4 "waves" of Aeons End. its entirely too much stuff lol. like insane amounts of cards. i love the game. 3 or 4 more waves? im good. the friends and foes stuff looks interesting but AE has suffered from power creep and i think for me ive gone in far enough

For playable characters I want a large variety of everything. The tainted grail rpg characters look lackluster and none of them appeal to my personal taste. I like how legends untold games have male and female options for your character on the front and back of the card which I think should be the standard unless its some complex character with a lot of narrative but if you have miniatures in your game that would require double the amount of character models to make it thematic. I really dislike one deck dungeon that makes everyone female. Its like they are trying to be inclusive but they are doing the opposite pushing me away from playing it.

The irony is the few guys that care enough to not buy a thing for lack of male characters probably eclipses the handful of females that would buy into something like tainted grail specifically BECAUSE it has more female characters.

I have a desire to play a boss battler and Dante looks amazing, but I think I might try to get my hands on Monster Hunter. I just worry that Dante would get overwhelming on my own and my gaming buddy is hard to commit to showing up.

I would suggest Vagrant Song as an entry point . it's relativly cheap compared to other boss battlers.
