When you're working against the weather and something like that springs up it is disappointing. Then knowing you paid full price for something you have no reasonable choice but to use and repair at your own time and expense is doubly disappointing. Thanks for the brand shout out. I'll be sure to keep that off my go-to list.

I've watched cameras being run over, mowed up, tangled in trees, fallen off of magnetic mounts, you-name-it. But we do appreciate all you guys (ALL of you) posting these videos! Just more problems with production standards today. They just ain't what they used to be. Great video. Retired farmer and truck driver here in upstate New York that was raised on a farm in Eastern Washington State. Dad ran 600 acres of irrigated land and multiple crops and did custom hay and corn chopping every year in the fall. We put up about 250000 tons of silage per season.

At the open I was thinking again about that pin that fell out on your Mo Co. I was really concerned it went through the chopper despite the metal detector. I was relieved it was the cover but still that's very disappointing. It was new, probably not too cheap and you have to make do with it anyway. That's maddening.

Always seems like there's a klunker in the works on a productive day. You folks look like old pros at leveling/packing your haylage pile. It could be a huge issue trying to place the tarp if a sudden windstorm decided to blow up!!!

We use a oxygen barrier and one layer of plastic on our piles on tar. I hope the dealer will take care of you guys and simply give you a new one. We use a company here in MN called Blue Lake Plastics for our plastic Net Wrap and baler twine if you are interested. I believe they ship to other states as well.

Quality of products these days is just crappy. You can't tell me that someone didn't notice that. My husband has gotten damaged furnaces that have no damage to the box. They were packaged damaged. I hope they stand by their product and don't screw you or the dealer. Please stay safe, and God bless.

I’m sure if you ended up with two bad tarps in a row there’s plenty of other guys with the same problem. The dealer is aware of this already and should have sent that whole batch back to the factory and made sure his customers get what they pay for.

Sucks about your pile plastic. Seems like you did your diligence on letting the dealer know, hopefully it will work out for you. Just curious, how come you only have one dual on the 1066? And I agree that the 1066 probably does have a way better footprint for packing

Harvest two crops in one ?????? As a dairy farmer I normally made 6 crops of hay per year. Im in Northeastern Iowa Why on earth allow the hay to turn into trees before harvesting. Its been a dry year too ! And you have far more man power then I ever had. I harvested 80 acres alone. No outside help. Consider doing a much better job at hay harvest. Cows would be happy eating " quality " hay !

They were cutting hay May 29 and May 30, so it must be May 31st. The hay looks like good "quality " I have been watching all of their videos and the videos are edited and posted a few weeks after they are recorded.

@@reginabraok939 Thank you. You do have a good point. After all hes saying that they are doubling up windrows. Not to sound negative....but as a dairy farmer I always tried to have first crop off by May 20th. Anything after that...its all stems ! To get dairy cows to produce with that type of hay........your dumping lots of additional things into the ration...such as protein. This is very expensive when if the hay is cut early that can be avoided. Just saying. However..I do have a nearby neighbor ( dairy farmer ) that seldom gets his first crop harvested by June 15...and he tells me its high quality. Asked him what he adds to his ration....no answer. On the other hand he complains there no money in milking cows. Go figure !
