I agree unfortunatly he ain't the first actor to gain weight after many season. For exemple in the serie Psych, the actor playing Shawn Spencer gain weight gradually as the season go on

we all age differently. it's not really so much a weight issue, Johnny's head just became enormous in later seasons, notice he is not fat in later seasons at all, his head is just giant when it used to be.... normal size and that's why he looked cute in the first 3 seasons. it's really only in season 4 when his head started to be bigger. and I think it's partly his genes, he just isn't aging the best. look at Jim - he is the oldest one, yet he still pretty much looks the same, maybe a little older, but he looks fantastic at his age! It's the genes, it's clear that Jim has better genes. because they are both rich actors and can take care of themselves the same - the best they can, but Jim still looks better, so it's DNA for sure.

Just 8 years ago Thor was Muscular and reasonable.. Now in his movies he is a fat drunk.. Hollyweird has been trying to destroy the normal male these days and turn them into slobs.

It is the best show ever, and I also couldn't care less if people see me that way too lol. This is my comfort show and Sheldon is extremely relatable.

You're misinterpreting the context of this clip, because the episode proves exactly the opposite of what you're saying. Sheldon was never attracted to Lalita, and he wasn't being intentionally romantic toward her. He was merely intrigued to meet a real person who looked exactly like a character from one of his children's books. He didn't say those things to flirt with her, he was simply repeating dialogues from the book, which is why he denies to Raj that he's flirting with her. This is precisely the joke here, that he doesn't understand that what he's saying comes off as romantic and flirtatious. When Lalita took him to eat, he didn't understand that it was supposed to be a date. After he returns home, Leonard asks him if he's planning to see Lalita again, and Sheldon is baffled and asks why he'd do that if he already has a dentist.

@ericksunderland616 Yes, I know the joke and the episode. You miss the ENTIRE premise of the show though. A researcher who manipulates animals for a living manipulates a man into marriage. A man who has stated several times he did not want her. That's the entire point of their relationship. Sha manipulated him.

The Lalita clip, if anything, only proves how alien romantic attraction is for Sheldon, because there was nothing romantic for him during the entire episode. Saying that Amy manipulated Sheldon into a relationship with her is an oversimplification. It's true that there's an episode where Amy pulls some attraction techniques on him, but that was just the topic of one episode, and we didn't see her doing it again. This is a sitcom after all, and many storylines are just a one-episode thing that never have a follow-up. Sheldon fell for Amy after a long and slow process and for multiple reasons, mainly the fact that she was the only woman of his age that was compatible with him and understood him, and she always tried to make him happy. Some key moments in their relationship actually happened spontaneously and when Amy thought she had lost him, like when Sheldon asked her to be his girlfriend (after Amy had given up on their relationship and accepted a date from Stuart), and when he proposed (after Amy feared that Ramona was going to steal him from her and even kissed him). Sheldon, in the end, came to love Amy because she loved him, and his life with her was happier than without her.

@ericksunderland616 not backtracking. He literally says things that he understands can come off as romantic but didn't realize they were romantic to her. Also, no. In no season nor episode did he express love nor companionship for Amy. He said countless times he did not want her in that way to which she manipulated him. She manipulated him. End of story.

Sheldon only denied at first that he loved her, but he came to do so over time; and even his denials weren't sincere. A common occurrence in the series was that Sheldon would deny that he liked Amy even though it was obvious to everyone else that he did, but Sheldon didn't want to admit his feelings. This is how many relationships begin in real life. It isn't love at first sight like in Hollywood, it's a slow development of attraction between two people who initially didn't feel attracted to each other (or with only one of them feeling a one-sided attraction), but develop this mutual attraction as they become part of each other's life.
