Ride to live , live to ride 👍
@T3merity5 ай бұрын
They use "drive" because it is a legal term. When you're "driving" you're engaged in commercial activity, and they can really only enforce speed limits upon people (err.."persons") if they are engaged in commerce. They trick you by using this word and many other legalese words, and when you admit to "driving", for whatever reason, you end up in their jurisdiction. Intelligent people who understand the law know that there aren't really any speed limits for people traveling (or in this case "riding") in a private capacity. You have a right to travel unmolested. All that being said...I still don't agree with riding like this on the street. It puts people on edge even if you don't wreck and, well, it's highly risky to yourself and those around you. Only ride like this on a track.
@doncollins7865 ай бұрын
Hmmm, OK. I have been "driving" motorcycles for 56 years now. I'm pretty sure if I get pulled over for 90 in a 60, I am going to get a ticket, whether I am "Driving" or "Riding" my bike. @LilKing420s5 ай бұрын
#Warning #IncomingRant Ironically, @capitalismftw, consider that in the end its capitalism that drives journalists to do such things. They will always air sensational, it's what's gonna get the views to generate a couple more ad dollars, another 1/4 of a point for the shareholders. No one does anything anymore cause it might help someone. Zero fucks given if what they do causes any harm. Sure, Brah broke the law, but he hurt no one. Nor did he damage anyone's property. He sped and they didn't even see him speed. Sadly, the law dogs will make an example of him, in another feeble attempt of the establish to scare citizens further into submission to the growing police state. Cops hate it when people refuse to bow down to them. Incidentally a ginormous character flaw inherent to the job. It all exposes them. Makes them look bad in the public and the bureaucrats then start thinking maybe they should pull some funding from these clowns next year. I mean after all, they must rely on self posted, public videos from a brah trying to make a living doin what he knows, to bring enough... hell ANY... evidence to charge a brah. This is but one small example. It's a viscous circle of profit only incentives. Revolving around a brah who was merely trying to save some travel time getting to Denver and make some ends meet in the process. I'm not religious but god forbid anyone take a step or two forward in life. So if a person doesn't conform to how its dictated, "go to jail then probation for years" and give us all your money while you're at it! Insanity! The politicians are no less complicit writing laws like qualified immunity so theres no accountablity. Law which inarguably favors corporations and the legal bribery system that are lobbys over the people. They think they are "saving the world", when all they are really doin' is fuckin' up lives and still to this day, in over 1,100+ cases every year for more than a decade in this country, still taking lives from people they are charged to "protect and serve". Sorry. Not Sorry. #ACAB AND mark my words... infinite growth capitalism will be our undoing. Have a nice day. #EndRant

With bikes they are usually much faster and can maintain the fast lane or split lanes in traffic only by the #1 lane (California allows lane splitting bcz of our traffic) Bcz there was no traffic for this guy in Colorado, he was having fun. They're just mad they missed him. He's a very experienced rider, and so is the man that stole his bike in this video.

Same for any dangerous activity. I was a commercial fisherman and I came SO close to death so many times. One slight thing different and that would have been a wrap. I'm a climber, and I know of people who have died because one tiny thing went wrong. Mountaineering, same thing. The only real difference is on the roads, you are putting other people's safety in jeopardy. One unexpected lane change and someone has to deal with you being dead for the rest of their life. I still condone this behavior, because I understand the rush, and I think the very small percentage of bad outcomes is, maybe unfortunately, worth the price of admission. No one is out there getting killed by motorcycles, it's the bikes that pay the ultimate price, and that is their decision alone to make. Everyone dies. Not everyone really lives.
