I have yet to see one of these you-tubers actually replace a bilge pump, on any boat, with the outboard motor still in place. Pulling wire and hose out of the deck plate...probably not going to happen on most boats. Manufacturers don't spend extra dollars on excess wiring and hose. In addition, I noticed he conveniently doesn't have to mount a new base...most times not the case when having to replace a bilge pump.

Great video ! But did not see a boat for the Bilge Pump. Maybe add a Warning Light, a Manual On Switch and an Hour Meter ! Thank you for the video ! tjl

I heard someone said it’s best to have 2 pumps in your boat one at the front and one at the back. What do u think my question is mounting them not every boat has a nice mounting area and can it be glued down?

deff not the way to do it. Use a heat gun or if you have to use a lighter or torch, dont touch the wire with the flame.

Decent information but way too long-winded and needs to get to the point a LOT faster. Video is from 2013 so going to look for something more recent. Thanks for sharing though.
