"A magpie tries to follow a stork and ends up tearing its own legs." This situation reflects my own. I really admire storks because I aspire to be like them. I find myself in a tough spot. Just like the magpie, I attempted to emulate the stork, and now I require surgery to mend my torn leg. The major issue is the abundance of storks in the world. So I need more time. It’s not just about individual execution. Ray Dalio was asking about building social cohesion and engagement in the team. I wish he had gotten a better answer.

He was great at being divisive at Bridge water. Probably not unlike Hitler and his groupies. Ray likes to recreate history and paint himself as a visionary. The guy looks like a circus clown when it comes to his appraisal of the Chinese economy.
