Billy Joel has such an amazing catalog you really have to check out some more of his work. He was a huge artist in the 1980s. I've seen him in concert a couple of times he's fantastic!

This was one of his last singles. I wish Billy would make another album, but he doesn't want to deal with the headache of it. All About Soul off of this album is a good one as well. Truthfully you cannot go wrong with Billy. He's one helluva songwriter.

Scenes from an italian restaurant - ballad of billy the kid...definitely worth reaction to (along with so so so many others). But if you ever, in your spare time, wanna watch something history making watch - Koheupt (A Matter of Trust - The Bridge to Russia). You are young so you probably don't know - but Billy Joel was the first outside Rock and Roll artist to pierce the iron curtain as it was falling.

Check out Billy Joel "You're only human (second wind)" and "Matter of Trust". Love them all though. Actually, all of Billy's stuff is incredible!! Go down that rabbit hole, you won't regret it.

In the early '90s, my grandpa visits a friend's farm (Horton's farm) in Glastonbury Connecticut. He hears they're filming parts of the River of Dreams music video inside the barn and goes over there for a visit. He proceeds to chat up Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley. Keep in mind, my grandpa has no idea who they are. He calls my mom, living in New Hampshire at the time, and tells her about the experience. She is understandably livid and asks him, "Dad, don't YOU KNOW who BILLY JOEL is? He says, "No, but his wife was awfully nice!" My mom tells me this story years later, and is shocked at how clueless he is about the cultural zeitgeist. Some people are just in the right place at the right time, I guess.

Just so you know, the river of dreams is just down river of the Mattabassett Sewage Treatment Facility. The car bridge in the background is the Arrigoni Bridge crossing from Middletown, Connecticut to Portland, Connecticut. I hope they washed themselves really well after that video... On a good day, the smell is only bad near the river, on most it's intolerable for probably close to a mile. They are singing part of the song on the seldom used swing train bridge just down river of the car bridge.

The rail bridge is now active and swings almost every day to carry train traffic. The whole point of a sewage facility is to clean the waste before discharge. Yes the plant may smell, but the Connecticut River doesn't. In the past you would have been correct, but those pesky rules and regulations have really cleaned up this area. PS I have never smelled a wiff of sewage and have worked on and near that area off and on for years. Peace

Glad to hear that river clean up has been effective. Hudson River and even NYC harbor has improved too. Still SO much work to do. Hope the globe can pick up speed on these efforts so that we don't all run out of time!! Rivers of dreams for all of us!!🐬🐋🎶🎵🦈🌎💚

I am from England too although London rather than Liverpool but have heard a Scouse accent many times both face to face and on television or film, yet I rarely pick up what is being said during these reactions myself.
