Birdman, I took that number down that you posted and gave it to a friend. Because of you posting that, you helped an 8 yo girl who was getting abused by her uncle. The uncle is in jail awaiting trial with a sky high bond and she is living with her mother. She now has emergency custody. Just want you to know that you was apart of making a difference in a little girls life. Thank you

Every child deserves to be on the lap of love, looking at the views of mountain tops in the distance. Because that's where they belong; on top of the world. Of anybody in this world, a child should get to see and feel the graciousness and beauty of time. It's all we have. Young, old, disabled; it doesn't matter, time cannot be taken for granted.

BACA does amazing work!!!! They/you take shifts, guarding the home where the abuse victim is living and attend the trials for the abuser so that’s a little kid always notice that they are safe. The kid will often/always get a nickname and vest with patches, so that they know that they are loved, protected and belong.BACA are true heroes. They go through a lot of training to make sure that they can properly support the child, and from what I understand, the vast majority of them are survivors of abuse themselves.

Every time I hear this song, I'm reminded of a Law and Order: SVU episode where Detective Munch reminisced about a little girl he knew in passing when he was a kid. He always wondered why her eyes looked so sad. One day, he didn't see her in her normal spot. He found out later, that her mother had thrown her through a plate glass window. And the heartless bitch who was her mother didn't understand why everyone was so upset. After all, as she put it 'she was the one who had to buy a new window, now.' 😠

The 1-800 number was something I did not know about or maybe didn’t exist then, but I thank you for posting it. There are hotlines, programs, people to help you help that child. Make the phone call. Go to the police station. Talk to school administration. Just please PLEASE, if you see something, say something. Don't just stand by and let this happen. God bless all the children in bed tonight with bruised ribs, a busted lip, a bruise on their arm, a black eye....God protect every single child out there that is literally fighting for their life. This song shatters me ...I come from a small town....a huge family ..we were all so incredibly close ..then as time went on we lost many to addictions and cancers and even suicide ... it's been so hard...I was raised not only by my mom but also my aunts... then earlier this year I was sent some videos and I had to listen to them more then once because I couldn't believe it ... one of my aunts claimed she "snapped" ... in the clips she is literally beating my little cousin ( her great nephew) and he is begging her...begging her to stop and for 3 solid minutes u hear her making contact with his little body ... I immediately went to the police and because I'm in Tennessee and there in arizona...the cops literally said they couldn't do nothing because it's not in "there jurisdiction" so then I contacted the police in az as well and thankfully she was stopped and he is okay now...he is safe ... and my aunt...is no longer my aunt she had the nerve to tell me " you turned your back on this family when u got me arrested your a disgrace for not understanding what happened that led to this" and I said to her " the day you laid your hands on that baby or anyone for that matter out of anger or sadness or whatever went through your head to justify it ..Is the day you turned your back on the family..not me ... we all are going through everything you are but it does not give you the right to hurt someone just because u are hurting".... never in my life did I ever think I'd have to turn my own aunt in ...I wonder everyday why ... kids are innocent .... every child deserves to feel loved and saf...if you see or hear something ..say something no matter who it is

Wow....I am so sorry you had to go through that. That is absolutely horrific. I can't imagine. And I can't imagine anything that would make someone lay their hands on an innocent child. So horrible. :( I hope all is ok in your family now. God Bless you and yours.

Thank you so much ..... it was so hard to hear it happening... I was actually at work ( I care for special needs adults in there homes) ...so when I got the clips I felt so incredibly helpless i wanted to jump thru the clip and protect him and stop her... it even made me throw up a few times just realizing this whole time what he was going through ..what he must have felt ..because she took all of her pent up anger out on him which is not right at all ...its a pain that goes to your soul I hope no one ever has to go thru

I am watching you for the first time today. Your emotions concerning this subject made me so happy. I know that sounds weird, let me explain. The fact that you are so emotional about child abuse, tells me that you care. This means that there’s 1 less child abuser out there. As a 55 year old woman, who was a victim of child abuse, 1 is a great amount. Without therapy, child abuse doesn’t end when you grow up. The effects stay with you your entire life. Thank you for having a good heart. God bless you

I’m just so happy that you had time to read it. I really wanted you to know that I, for one (but not the only one) cannot express how much I appreciate you. Thank you so much for spreading the word that Innocent helpless babies & children are dying everyday. Sometimes no one knew. Many more times no one wanted to get involved. “It’s not my problem” “I’m sure someone will call 911. They have to hear her/his cries too” etc 😢😢. I apologize for rambling. But like you, this subject hits me hard. I often cannot hear or watch a news report or documentary about this, because it will often be a trigger for me.
