This is terrific! I have lots of FMN plants also, have never seen birds on them though. Your little friends look like house finches. TYFS! 💜🦋❤️

I love forget me nots. My favourite pressed flower! When I try it myself I get dark discolouration in the centers. I've been using parchment paper which is a bit dry but I do take them straight from the garden and press them immediately. Any idea what I might be doing wrong? Thank goodness I can order them from you on Etsy!

Hi, yes forget-me-nots are so cute! I would suggest not using parchment paper. That may be the reason. Use something that is absorbent, even if it is just copy paper. Using anything that is glossy or otherwise not absorbent tends to make things take longer to dry - risking more chance of browning or rotting in the press.
