I belong as well. I live well by choice, fuck proverty and everything that comes with it. I reject that ghetto not having shyt lifestyle. I take all I can get. I have a very good upper middle class lifestyle but to be honest I want more! I meet so many black people that are afraid to take what they want. And to be honest many of these white people will help you if you have some drive or they can make some money off your black ass

Rasul Daniels any career path is for the black man as long as that black man has the pure drive to become the best at what he does, pair that with equipping oneself with the knowledge & tools to facilitate success & a great mentor, you can materialize your dreams into reality any market with the right demographic i.e. don’t try to become the best in Smallville, Montana , you gotta go to a decent market with a consistent stream like an armed forces city, a major college city or a city with multiple sports franchises, you find knowledge, connections & work year round

I understand what Kevin experienced and agree we belong so we should act like we belong. But I think its deeper than what Kevin is explaining or thinking of that white woman. At first/surface glance we think the white woman in this situation doesn't think "we" belong because we can't be engineers, financier or anything qualified to in that room other than in a capacity to "serve" food and drink. No... If you know what racism truly is you'd know...she and others are aware of our capabilities just like any human being. Its just they have engineered a society where access to resources, wealth etc are out right denied or made difficult to obtain. Don't automatically think she's or they are ignorant and "wow...your a qualified black man"....Nah Bro..."its wow...how'd you get here with all the traps laid out in front of your people"? "How'd you get in"? "Who help let you in"?...regardless of you good grades...work ethic...upbringing...intelligence. The game is deep family.

Whew, this hit close to home. I was enjoying a great glass of McCallan 25, at a certain club, in the city when someone attempted to hand me a glass and ask me where the restroom was. My hand held clenched and I said " ah, you must be new... the members' only restroom is this way... but you should leave that glass on the bar or with a server." We had a nice laugh and quick convo in the member's restroom. He apologized profusely and sent a glass of Johnny Blue my way... My father said " no matter where you go, you've already been there... be comfortable." I'll always remember that, whilst standing on Walt Jr.s' patio.

You’re right. I’m glad you brought this up. I’ve been called a sellout for joining a predominately white business fraternity at my university. While the Black frats were drinking Hennessy, I was drinking wine and building relationships with people i knew I could benefit off of. I’m just playing the game and enjoying it at the same time. Now that I just graduated, I am so cocky and confident enough in boardrooms, lounges, and meetings with higher income people because I’ve been around them the past 4 years. Once they see you have the skills and the mindset, they will accept you as one of them (not in the racial way but in the social class way) and then soon and later they will put you on a pedestal because you’re rare like no other. Thank you for putting this video out there Kev!

Good point. Except for when you speak about black fraternities. When I joined a black fraternity it was to grow with my own people while getting a great education and giving back to my community. I have hundreds of hours of community service because of joining a black frat. I believe I am in the position I’m in now because of joining my fraternity. My point is you can make all kinds of connections regardless of what organization you are in. Besides, I’m black and I don’t ever touch Hennessy. Blue Phi!!! 🤘🏽

That’s literally the same problem I have with the Aviation industry that I’m in. There absolutely not enough brothers in the pilot shit I’m doing, every time I land in an airport there even a brother flying in or in the airport and the worst part that aches my soul is the higher I go the less brothers they are, and whenever I go back to my hometown and try to tell my friends come do this shit I’m doing they always like black people don’t fly planes, I’m like I’m black and I fly planes, and they always tell me you Nigerian you wasn’t born here you don’t know the struggle we face, I’m like yeah your mindset needs fixing

May I reccomend you seeks a non prof and get a lil bit of money to pay production team to follow i around the facility in a day in the life type fashion. Then do a sit down interview and share your story as well as wisdom and insights gained. This you can post and u can share to all the aforementioned. Yeah, I hear you but at the same time we still have to be careful and aware where we go!!! How many times have a black man and black women been attacked when they found themselves around nothing but people who didn't look like them, especially when alcohol is involved??? Over the summer, a black man was attacked at some campground by a group of Trump supporting white men just because he was black. They had him hemmed up against a tree, while the white people that he was with sat there and watched!!! Yes, we deserve to go everywhere and experience new things, but I keep my head on a swivel.
