*I have been carrying and using the WC Knives Jr Woodsman on a daily basis since Feb 2019. It has become my go to knife to use in the woods. The Jr Woodsman has a "woodsman's grind" which makes it a perfect bushcraft knife because it excels at every task from whittling and carving to food prep and game processing with no problems. Let's take a look at the knife design and see it in action. I will demonstrate multiple bushcraft techniques with this knife and show how it performs in each task. If you are interested in learning more about this knife please visit www.wcknives.com. For the highest quality leather sheaths and other leather goods visit www.stitchedgear.com. I do enjoy sitting and carving with a good knife or whittling a bit as that is one of my favorite simple pleasures in life, I try to do it every opportunity I get. I do not believe you would be at all disappointed if you do add this one to your collection. It is an amazing knife to me. It would go great next to your new WCSK :) Take care brother and I hope to share a camp with you again sometime soon.

The design is quite thought provoking. Thank you for your presentation and demo. It helps to see your enthusiasm and quite admittedly the knife is close to what I would call a Swiss Army knife of fixed blades. I think before long it may be possible for that one tool option to pop up somewhere with all the thoughts that are going on to achieve that benchmark. Again you have done a wonderful job in presentation, I really and enthusiastically am waiting to see more of what you come up with. Thank you so much for the time and thought you put into this. Take care and will talk at you later.

A refreshing gear review. You thoroughly covered the features, used it yourself for an extended period, fully disclosed both your lack of commercial interest, but also that you did receive the knife itself. All the sorts of things good gear reviews should have, but so often fail to provide. Kudos! It enhances the quality and usefulness of the review, as well as the credibility of both the review and yourself. An example of why you are amongst my favourite bushcraft channels, or outdoor themed channels in general.

I truly appreciate your kind words Thomas! I could not hope to receive any nicer comment my friend. I am glad you enjoyed the video and appreciate the time that went into it. I will never do a review on a product that I do not use, trust and or that I would not gladly pay the price for myself. I purchased the WCNK at Blade Show several weeks back and paid full price for it and couldn't be happier with that one as well. I believe that any gear review should be based on a fair amount of usage in the field in order to give the most honest and accurate review to one's subscribers. Thank you for your time and support sir!

pretty neat knife, I wished I could sharpen a scandi grind to hair popping sharp, I understand they , the scandi grinds are the easiest to sharpen, not for me, or maybe its the 10 70 steel, I have no idea, some knives I can sharpen some i cant, 2 of my 1070 type scandi grinds are becoming not my favorite, just because I cant get em sharp. a schrade stainless old timer with reg convex grind i get razor sharp . oh well. good vid thanks

I totally understand. That's the beauty of the knife world, there are so many options of different types of knives, so you should definitely go with what fits you. I would make one recommendation, I have designed a knife with William Collins (WC Knives) and the model is call the Black Hat, It will be available very soon and I will have a video to come. It is all the practicality of the Multi grind, but in a more traditional slim profile that you may enjoy and feel comfortable with. I hope to hear your thoughts on that one. Lived in Washington state for awhile and had a blind horse knives made in O1 for 3 years or so. Never had issues with rusting because I actually took care of my tools. Would hang along the ocean coast and enjoy every second of it carving away by the fire. When I'd get home, just a quick wash with soap and water, hand dried, and a coat of mineral oil to keep it safe in the drawer. If that's too much maintenance you could always get Williams AEB-L version which is a better performer any way. It's stainless steel that holds an edge like 35vn but hones up like 01. Very good stuff.

Great review Mr. Hat... or may I call you Black? I honestly had no intention of buying one of these knives until I watched your review. Now I have to think of a way to work this purchase into the budget. (Damn you Matt, you are the spawn of Satan). Perhaps limit this drawing to all your subscribers with the initials JS and who have exactly seven letters in their name.
