Yeah ..go ahead and think possums are awesome.. wait until they start populating your return and a/c ductwork and keep you up all night because the dog knows it there and freaks the hell out..horrible smell whenever the air comes on so one of them probably took a dump in my ductwork..waiting on a handyman to come and retape under my mobile home to them out.. tally so far... 2 juveniles removed from my kitchen, 4 caught in live traps outside... including a huge female with teeny babies.... she was let go miles from here... the others... well...I'd rather have the ticks

1st step should be to make sure the trees you're using haven't been eaten inside by ants. The tree may collapse, and your blissful nap will end with you getting killed or injured. Still, good video.

This fulfills a big gap in my daily carry back pack for an emergency sleep system. For winter environments I could probably add a compact sleeping bag liner and been in good shape! I can’t wait to get one!

Very, very nice kit!! There are many things that have been discontinued long before their time. Exclusivity has a price 😢Your Sammi sewing kit is sweet…the fact you made it is the cherry!! I’d love to try one myself…any suggestions where to begin? Thanks so very much.

I like to make utensils from different types of wood and bamboo, but I am paranoid about them causing an allergic reaction when used, so I don’t use them haha. Still fun to make.

These are native grapes. They have a massive range in the US and grow like weeds everywhere. Most of the time if not in a forested or protected area they get mowed and cut down. I lot of people mistake them for poisonous plants but I have no idea why.

I'd like to suggest an alternative to the Pathfinder Bottle carrier. I use an Orca Tactical Molle Bottle Carrier (Amazon, $22.50) instead, since it is more flexible. The primary difference is that the Orca has a bottom zipper that allows me to get out the cup without having to remove the Grayl and dig to the bottom of the bag. My entire system contains: Grayl Geopress, a Wal-Mart Stanley 2-cup Cook set ($15, pot handle and lid only), a WalMart Stainless Cup ($5, the Stanley fits inside and the Stanley lid also fits this), a "Hot Lips insert for the cup (no burned lips), a long Spork, 4-5 knee-high ladies nylons (pre-filters for the Grayl, also surround the Grayl and keep any rattles down), and a folded bandanna. In the Orca's outside pocket I carry an Esbit folding stove, a spare ferro rod, a few folded foil squares and a plastic bag of coffee bags, tea bags, bouillon powder packets, salt & pepper packs, and still have a small space for a Clif bar.

Aww man this is amazing. I'm thinking about getting into hammock and tarp camping rather than use my tent. My mate already has a hammock and tarp and he loves it. This video has been brilliant and has provided an abundance of great tips. Thanks so much man. Subscribed. Peace and love from Bonnie Scotland 🏴⛺️

Love my Grayl, though pricey. Went camping in a campground with a couple of fellows and the children of one of them. They had their Sawyer filters and getting their water from the spigot. Took the Grayl down to the lake, dipped it in, filtered and drank it. Their jaws about hit the ground. Told them that is what it was designed to do. I also now carry a Milbank bag to pre-filter the bigger stuff to save the Grayl. If in doubt it does not hurt to continue with your water treatment until you are comfortable.

I agree 100%. I do need to scale it up a bit and use some more stout materials to make a killing trap. This was more of a model than anything just to play with. My daughter has enjoyed fiddling with it 😊

Bamboo is quite useful with minimal work as you demonstrated a couple videos ago. Chop sticks obviously, skewers, cups, dippers. Uses are practically endless.
