How to generate Nanite meshes from low poly assets with blend material (vertex painted)
This will help you generate detailed models for Nanite scenes with complex blended materials.
Vertex paint will be baked into the Nanite mesh and you can use the same blend material.
If you need to repaint your vertex colors you can disable Nanite repaint and then generate Nanite again.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what material is applied to the object at the end of the video tutorial. The object to which the blend material is applied cannot be a nanite. Can you please tell me where I'm wrong? Thank you in advance

I couldnt figure out how to make Vertex Paint work with Nanite, can you please tell me how you did it? When I turn on Nanite my paintet areas disappear and only the top layer remains.

Turn off Nanite and paint your Vertex color. Then turn it back ON and the vertex paint will stay on the nanite mesh.

After Vertex Paint you need to click to Apply button and it will be work with nanite.

@@dk_3d The issue is however when you have multiple instances of the same mesh with differently painted vertex color. Once the vertex color applied it is the same for all the pieces destroying the variations.
