if you take in acount that Minuet is a recolor of Lyra and the other two are recolor one of the other, thats make sense for Moon Dancer to be a recolor of Twilight

Oh I just remembered something. As well as all the other awesome things about this episode, there's one small thing that's really really good - Spike. Seriously the way Spike's character was written even if he was only in it for a few seconds was great! He's better in this than the entirety of Princess Spike XD

I agree if Twilight did go to the party, not only would Luna never be herself, but it would have been doom for Equestria. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. I feel bad for Moon dancer regardless but it couldn't be helped. Also 15:03 Look over to the far left of the screen. Looks like another certain pony doing a stakeout! :P

Twilight and Moondancer. Lemon Hearts and Twinkleshine. Minuette and Lyra. Each of these pairs have two ponies with the same manestyle. Coincidence...? Or maybe some friends that decided to share the same style with their closest friend within the group? I could see Lyra and Minuette being good buddies.

When you said about rejecting the party being worth it because of the Nightmare Moon incident I think that she could've just read that same part of the book after the party and then it still would've turned out the way it did at the end of Season 1 episode 2. Then again that would mean this episode would've been resolved at the 8 minute mark. Or some bullies or some crap would've been the antagonists/issue to be dealt with in this episode.

Isenlyn - The Frenchy Brony Actually, look at some other ponies like Flim and Flam. _Their_ cutie marks are red, but their magic is green. It's either the CM color _or_ the eye color that determines the magic color.
